Welcome to Laura Tilson Osteopathy - Your Osteopathy team in Battersea & Surbiton! We work from two clinics, one near Clapham Junction train station and one near Surbiton station. We provide a range of treatments to help all manner of musculoskeletal symptoms. Commonly people come to see us with back pain, neck and headaches, joint injuries and pregnancy related pain. Parents bring their babies and children of all ages to see us to treat musculoskeletal issues which may be affecting their general health.

🤩 ASSOCIATE OSTEOPATH ROLE 🤩

We are looking for an Associate Osteopath to join our busy team in our Battersea, Surbiton and South Wimbledon clinics.

The clinics are based very near to Clapham Junction and Surbiton train stations, and South Wimbledon tube.

Initially to cover a maternity role with long term position a possibility.

We have a range of patients but our team all have post-graduate training in Paediatrics and/or Women’s Health Osteopathy, so we see a lot of mums and babies in the clinics.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about Women’s Health and Paediatrics with a diploma level qualification.

I first met Jamie when he was 8 weeks old.

He was suffering with silent reflux, and mum was suffering too seeing her baby in such discomfort. A mum friend of Kelly’s recommended our clinic to her and she booked Jamie in for a session with me.

We often treat babies who are experiencing feeding or digestion problems and our gentle, hands-on approach can support them in finding some relief.

I was so pleased that Jamie seemed more relaxed and comfortable after his session.

“3 things you could do this week to relieve your pregnancy back pain.

Do these three things, and you’ll soon see some relief from your back pain...

1. Release your pelvic floor
Exercises like placing a soft therapy ball just inside your sit bones and allowing your pelvic floor to release around it.
Or mobilising your hips with 90-90 hip stretches can help to take the pressure off the lumbar spine.

2. Diaphragm and rib release techniques
Thoracic rotation exercises and cat-cows allow for more space for the growing uterus and mobilise the upper lumbar spine.

3. Book in with an Osteopath specialising in pregnancy pain
They’ll know exactly where to work on your body and can diagnose your problem so you better understand what’s going on.

Madeleine is a qualified and registered Osteopath who brings a calm, holistic approach to every treatment. She combines her background in massage therapy with a deep understanding of osteopathic principles to support patients of all ages — from newborns to adults.

🎓 Her journey:
Madeleine obtained her Diploma in Osteopathy from ICOM College in Milan and a Master’s Degree in Osteopathy from Kingston University in 2017. Since then, she has treated patients in both the UK and Italy, blending international experience with a compassionate, patient-centred style.

💆‍♀️ Before qualifying as an osteopath, Madeleine achieved a Diploma in Therapeutic Massage from Ecolife, Milan (2015) — a foundation that shaped her attentive, hands-on approach to treatment.

🌿 Her passion for cranial and cranio-sacral osteopathy led her to become a Junior Teaching Assistant at ICOM after graduating, where she deepened her skills and developed a love for paediatric osteopathy.
