🙏🏻And that is because focusing all of your energy on trying to be grateful for your body is all well and good...

But without doing the deep mindset work, challenging your beliefs, rewiring your views about your body...

👉️We are either told...

You are too skinny or too fat
You are too muscly or not toned enough
You are too loud or too quiet
You are too assertive or not assertive enough
You are too sexy or not sexy enough
You are too this or too that...

It's never ending! 😤

The standards society puts on women are simply unrealistic!

😱Society asks us to be one thing while being the exact opposite of that thing... so what are we supposed to do then!?

💥So I'm here to say F*** that to all of that!

And I'm here to help you say no more for yourself! 😍

🚫No more to the standards and expectations put on you by society, the patriarchy and diet culture!

Remember, there is no 'perfect' way of looking or being when it comes to being a woman...

Have you ever thought...

It's normal... 😘

➡️You believe that because society and diet culture has led you to believe that weight loss and thinness is the answer to body confidence and happiness.

When in fact, we know that this is completely untrue! 🤬

Actually, dieting and weight loss journeys often are linked to worse body image.

👉️And that is because your poor body image has nothing to do with your actual body.

🤓It has everything to do with your mindset!

🚫And no amount of weight loss, no body change or dieting will change that.

💥 You are being lied to!

The diet industry and diet culture is hiding things from you! 🤬

They tell you that dieting will lead you to lose weight, which will ultimately make you happy. Right?

Wrong!

They don't want you to know the dark side of dieting, specifically all the side effects it has, like
➡️ Dieting can lead to disordered eating and is a risk factor for eating disorders
➡️ Dieting increase preoccupation with our bodies and worsen body image
➡️ Dieting can lead to low moods as it depletes the feel good chemical, serotonin.
➡️ Dieting creates a disconnect to our body's own hunger and fullness cues.

🖐️So if you're dieting in the hopes of being thin or losing weight so you can finally be happy in your body...

Then I'm sorry to say but that won't happen.

🚫Dieting is not and never will be the answer to body satisfaction.

🤩Instead need to learn the tools and strategies to break free from the diet mentality, let go of the idea of the 'perfect' body, challenge your beliefs about your body and accept your body as it is.

➡️ Hating your body
➡️ Obsessing about the number on the scale
➡️ Feeling awful that you don't fit into a certain clothing size
➡️ Wishing you were thinner
➡️ Fixating on what you're eating
.. Probably a lot more time and energy than you'd want to imagine! 😱

😤 All of that time and energy you spend obsessing about what your body looks is a WASTE of your life's purpose.

🖐️ I can totally relate, as I used to worry about those exact things!

👉️ I was terrified that if I gained weight I would no longer be attract, that my partner would break up with me and that I would be a failure.

😭 Sadly, this story you're telling yourself is a result of diet culture and society's fatphobia.

You have been conditioned from a young age that thinness equates to popularity, attractiveness, desirability, success, worth, etc.

And therefore, if you gain weight, you'll lose a lot of that. 🤬

But that's BS! And another example of how toxic diet culture is.

In order to overcome your fear of weight gain, to be able to eat freely without guilt or anxiety, to accept your body as it is...

You need to:
✅ Breaking down the narrative I was stuck in that my worth and desirability was dependent on my body and looks.
✅ Rewiring the beliefs I had about myself, my body and food.
✅ Regaining confidence in who I am and uncovering my value as a person.
✅ Unlearning all the BS that diet culture had ingrained in me.

➡️ Why do I fear weight gain so much?
➡️ Why can I never be happy with my body?
➡️ Why do I believe that dieting and watching what I eat is just part and parcel of being a woman?

🤬 That is all done to diet culture!

🤯 How can you be expected to feel good about your body when...

you are constantly being told that in order to be seen as worthy, to be accepted as a human being, to be considered desirable, you need to look a certain way
..basically be thin! 😤

👉️ And diet culture has not only conditioned you to think that a thin body is a good body,

it has also taught you to fear larger bodies,

and that if you aren't thin, you won't be attractive nor worthy.

🖐️ It is because of the BS of diet culture that I suffered with terrible body image and disordered eating...

😍 And why I am so passionate and grateful to support my clients in saying 'no more' to the diet culture BS, so that they can eat freely and finally accept their body regardless of its size.

🖐️ I used to think I was the perfect example of healthy eating.

The old me was convinced that:
➡️ Tracking all of my calories on myfitnesspal
➡️ Making every meal low carb or carb free
➡️ Swapping flour for protein powder in all of my baking
➡️ Boiling or steaming everything to make it low fat
➡️ Having a salad with no dressing
➡️ Eating the same meals everyday as I knew exactly how many calories were in them
.. that doing all of this was me just being healthy. 😅

😎 But the new me knows that this is dieting and disordered eating at its finest.

👉️And I can now enjoy all foods without any guilt or anxiety.
👉️I can eat freely without thinking about the calories.
👉️I can eat fried foods, enjoy desserts, enjoy pizzas, pastas, all of it without it being a thing and without thinking twice.

I was able to get there by digging into the 'why' behind my behaviours, challenging my beliefs around food and my body, giving myself unconditional permission to eat and practicing food neutrality.

And this is possible for you too my lovely! ❣️
