All the Insta gurus say I should do an introduction post - so here it is!

My account is all about fertility, acupuncture, and trying to conceive.
You’ll find posts on:

• how and why acupuncture can help
• tips, information and supportive things you can do
• how TTC affects not only those trying, but friends, family and all of us
• education about how your body works
• behind-the-scenes snippets from clinic life

If you’re reading this and would like to connect, follow along, sign up to Fertility News (I promise it’s monthly!), or pop me a DM.

I’ve absolutely loved my journey as a fertility acupuncturist. And if you’re an acupuncturist thinking about working in this field, you’ll need more specialist training than what’s covered in a 3–4 year degree — truly!

A course I highly recommend is — Naava is an incredible teacher and has created such a supportive community.

So that’s me… what about you?
I’d love you to say hi in the comments.
Sally xx

How much exercise is right when you’re trying to conceive?
From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective, your menstrual cycle flows through 4 phases - each with different energy needs.
By considering your movement to these phases, you can:
✨ Support Yin & Yang balance
✨ Nourish Qi & Blood
✨ Reduce stress
✨ Encourage an optimal cycle
The 4 Phases:
Menstrual – Passive Yin: Gentle movement, conserve energy.
Follicular – Yin building: Gradually increase activity.
Ovulation – Yin to Yang: Moderate cardio & circulation boosting.
Luteal – Yang phase: Gentle to moderate exercise, avoid overstraining.
💡 Always adapt to your rhythms, fitness level, and how your cycle feels
📌 Save this post to refer back to each cycle
