As a Birth doula I am not a trained doctor, nor am I a nurse/midwife.
I do have qualifications in health & social care as well as my end of life doula training & my birth doula training.
I also gave birth to my son with no intervention. That includes no machines or doctors touching me & no pain relief.
I feel this gives me a really good advantage in being able to understand women's needs during this time.
I have trained in natural medicine, I am a fully trained herbalist & have qualified in some different avenues of Chinese medicine.
My personal goal from helping women through pregnancy & birth is to empower them!
Natural births & lotus births are where I would love to keep my energy. Educating women in to the beautiful sacred ritual child birth is. Empowering women to truly give their body the reins during this time and trust it knows what to do.
This is something I teach in my other work and it's something I'd like to be able to share here as well.
As a doula I am here to help all families, with home births, hospital births, natural or not. I am here to help & educate where its wanted, but most of all I am here to support you with all the choices you make throughout this sacred journey 🤗💜
