The NeckCare assessment is a non-invasive, ten-minute process designed to establish a functional baseline.
The three phases include:
🔷Cervical Range of Motion: Measuring movement in six directions-flexion, extension, lateral flexion, and rotation-recorded in degrees.
🔷Joint Position Error (JPE) Test: Assessing the “gap” between where a client thinks neutral is and where it actually is after turning their head.
🔷The Butterfly Test: Evaluating the coordination between head movement and visual tracking.
By the end of these phases, we have an actual picture of how the neck is functioning right now, rather than relying on a subjective questionnaire.
