We Did It!
Well done to staff who slept on cold, hard concrete with nothing but a sleeping bad whilst being open to the elements. This event was held in the Toughsheet Stadium (Near Manchester), where participants slept next to the football pitch. We were informed it was extremely cold and uncomfortable and woke up shocked to how people do this day in day out due to their living situation.
As a result.....£150.00 was raised and given to SHELTER to support homelessness in the community.

Zander Mackenzie Care UK will be taking part in an event which provides vital charities with the funding needed to support people experiencing homelessness.

Michael Lewis and staff will be participating in a sleep out event alongside community members to sleep "pitch-side", or in designated sheltered areas at a football stadium on the 27th February 2026. This is to raise awareness and funds for those experiencing homelessness. The only protection from the elements will be a sleeping bag, so that they can fully experience the harsh reality of homelessness. Please Donate to this very important cause:
