Our bodies are meant to move and age shouldn’t determine how you move.
But it’s not just about getting older, it’s about awareness.
You need to understand where to start.
How a movement is meant to feel.
What you’re actually targeting.
Are you present when you exercise?
Are you moving correctly or just going through the motions?
Do you feel confident in the movement you’re performing?
Are you breathing properly?
There’s always a place to start. But I’ve noticed such a disconnect between doing a movement and actually understanding what it’s for.
Take the time to learn what you’re doing. Or choose smaller classes where you can get guidance and feedback.
