Who did you become to be loved? 🌑

We all have a “False Self”—not as a lie, but as a brilliant, intelligent adaptation. It’s the version of us that learned which feelings brought warmth and which ones were met with silence.

Maybe you became:
✨ The “Always Reliable” one.
✨ The one who never gets angry.
✨ The one who achieves to feel seen.

This self protected your belonging for years. But if it’s always leading, where did the “real” you go?

In my latest newsletter, I explore how to honor the self we built to survive without letting it mute our true essence.

The world is on fire. Does your “inner work” even matter right now? 🔥

Most of us feel it: the headlines hit, the jaw tightens, the breath narrows. We feel a desperate urgency to act, to scream, to oppose.

But here is the uncomfortable truth: If your action is fueled by the same fire you’re fighting, you aren’t solving the conflict. You’re just helping it mutate.

When the nervous system stays in “war mode,” we don’t create peace—we just reproduce the inner structure of violence.
In my latest reflection, I dive into a radical shift inspired by :

✨Moving from protesting against what we hate to creatively embodying what we love.

This isn’t spiritual bypassing. It’s about not surrendering your center to the nightmare.

Because you cannot transmit peace if you are inhabited by war.

What inner state are you stabilizing today?

Regulation is a capacity, not a performance. ✨

We often feel like we have to “fix” ourselves or “calm down” on command. But the truth is, our nervous system learns through practice and connection—not perfection.

In my latest newsletter, I explore the dance between:
🧘 Auto-regulation: How we settle ourselves (softening shoulders, naming the feeling).
🤝 Co-regulation: How we find safety in the presence of others.

Whether you’re leaning into a friend’s calm or finding your own breath in a tense moment, you are building the capacity to feel it all without being overwhelmed.

Regulation is not calmness. 🦢

We often mistake “regulating” for calming down, controlling emotions, or forcing positivity. But regulation is none of these.

A regulated nervous system is not quiet. It is responsive, flexible, and adaptive.

It’s the capacity to stay present while emotions move through you, without becoming overwhelmed or shutting down.

What it looks like: ✨ Feeling irritation, but pausing before responding. ✨ Noticing anxiety, without needing to “fix” it immediately. ✨ Staying in contact with intensity, without tipping into withdrawal.

Your nervous system isn’t asking for happiness. It’s asking: “Am I safe right now?” Like in Hilma af Klint’s The Swan, there is tension and polarity, yet the two stay in relationship. They don’t collapse; they remain intact.

Have you noticed how the light is changing? ✨

It’s not quite the warmth of spring yet, but it’s a promise. February is teaching us that transformation rarely happens with a bang; it’s a slow, silent shedding. It is the month of the “threshold”—a time to embrace our vulnerability, much like the bare trees waiting for the sap to rise.

In my latest newsletter, I explore this delicate space between cycles and the courage it takes to simply wait without rushing the bloom.

I’d love to know: How does this “in-between” season feel for you? Are you rushing toward spring or still honoring your winter skin? Let’s chat in the comments. ↓

We’ve been sold a lie: that being “good” is the same thing as being happy. In reality, being the one who never makes a scene often means being the one who isn’t seen at all. To keep the peace, we sacrifice our boundaries, our energy, and eventually, our sense of self.
Virginia Woolf called it “killing the Angel of the House.” I call it reclaiming your life.
My latest piece explores the invisible tax we pay for being uncomplicated. It’s time to stop being “good” and start being real.

In my last YouTube video I explain:
- what depression means
- how to regognise it
- what are the early signs and the symptoms of depression
After giving you an insight about depression, I share with you MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE with it and hopefully it will help you have a better idea of what it is, beside any clinical description.

I have suffered from depression quite a few times in my life, this is probably one of the things that prompted me into studying psychology and becoming a therapist.
Therapists may also suffer from depression, you know? Personally, I find that my experience of depression got milder the more I grew personally but the last episode was two years ago, after I had already been a therapist for years. So lesson number one, no one is immune to depression, we are all human.
This video will help you become more aware of your feelings and symptoms and it will give you insight on how to deal with them.
Feel free to share your experience, too, if you feel like.

Love,
Francesca

WHAT IS YOUR INTENTION FOR 2020? ✨

Freedom is within us: this is what I got to discover in 2019, and this is going to be my intention for the New Year.

I have spent too much time complaining about life holding me back. It’s just not true... I have being doing that to myself with my fears and limiting beliefs.

And this year, thanks to the wonderful .ferguson, I deeply understood that being free is actually a choice. My choice. I choice that I, and everyone, can do every single day.

So next year, I want to truly feel and remember that I have a choice.

I want to act according to the fact the I am free, as long as I choose freedom.

It’s not easy... we all tend to dwell in our sorrows and complain. But I don’t want to anymore.
I want to be free, I want this state of mind. I want to be in control of the way I feel. And now I know that I can, that I have that power in me: when I am free in my mind, I am free to do anything. I think differently, act differently and feel differently.

I have already had a taste of it and I want to keep rolling on this path as it seems really blissful 😁

If you are interested in learning more about this you can read some of Joe Dispenza’s books .

I wish you a New Year full of freedom and happiness 💫
