"Freedom Day" was a step in the direction of normality, after more than a year of coronavirus restrictions. Under the fourth step of the British government's roadmap to relax COVID19 restrictions, measures will be cancelled in several areas.

People are asked to use "personal judgment" and common sense when considering the risks of protecting themselves and others, so use a mask where you can.

People with COVID symptoms should self-isolate and undergo a PCR test. (As of August 16, vaccinated contacts 18 years and older do not need to be isolated, but PCR testing will be recommended as soon as possible)
