Filming has commenced on ‘Tommy & Tuppence’ featuring Costumes Designed by Lucy Williams and work from 1st Assistant Director Malinda Kaur . The series stars Antonia Thomas, Josh Dylan, and BAFTA-winner Imelda Staunton, and is directed by Fergus O’Brien and Ellie Heydon for Lookout Point and Britbox.

We’re delighted to welcome Hair and Makeup Designer Raine Rafter to the Loop Talent roster.

Hailing from South Africa and now UK based, Raine Rafter is an award-winning Hair and Makeup Designer with extensive experience in HETV and feature film. Her recent work can be seen in Martin Scorsese’s ‘The Saints’ and Lawrence Gough’s ‘Band of Spies’ as well as the ‘Resident Evil’ series for Netflix. She is currently in prep for an embargoed major feature with high profile talent 👀

Known for her highly detailed expertise in period productions and beauty, as well as trauma, prosthetics and blood, Raine is a resourceful and artistic Designer. She is passionate about her craft, bringing imaginative design work and a composed presence to set.

This week we spotlight Production Designer Declan Price .

Declan recently designed ‘The Pigs Underneath’ produced by & Jordan Peele’s . The short film, directed by Charlie Dennis, recently premiered at Toronto International Film Festival.

His other recent credits include feature film ‘The Caged’ staring Edmund Kingsley and Tamsin Merchant, and ‘Rocket Fuel’ from director Jordon Scott Kennedy, now showing in iPlayer. Declan also designed feature film ‘Marching Powder’ starring Danny Dyer.

Declan has a track record of acclaimed features films including ‘Kindling’, ‘Matriarch’ (Disney+) and Neil Maskell’s ‘Klokkenluider’.

More recently he designed ‘Black Dog’ from director , horror ‘Daddys Head’ and ‘A Bit Of Light’ starring Anna Paquin and Ray Winston.

In TV, Declan designed the revamped BBC/ series of ‘Bad Education’ (S4-5) and pilots including ‘Bangmouth Village’ (), ‘Winning’ () and the BAFTA-nominated ‘Please Help’.

‘Kidnapping of Arabella’ lensed by Lorenzo Levrini , directed by Carolina Cavalli and starring Chris Pine.

‘Mad Bills To Pay’ lensed by DOP Rufai Ajala directed by Joel Vargas.

‘Retreat’ with Intimacy Coordination by Haley Muraleedharan , directed by Ted Evans.

Short film ‘22+1’ directed by Pippa Bennett-Warner with Costume Design by Lucy Williams , will premiere in the collection ‘Show Me Who I Am’.

The London Film Festival runs from 8-19 October in London and across the UK.

First look at ‘Goodbye June’ featuring work by Production Manager Adanna Adams. The film is the feature directorial debut of Kate Winslet and has an all-star cast including Helen Mirren, Timothy Spall, Toni Collette, Andrea Riseborough, Johnny Flynn, and Winslet herself. ‘Goodbye June’ is in cinemas later this year before streaming worldwide on Netflix.

1st AD David Chalstrey has been interviewed for the RTS Magazine Working Lives feature, talking about his career thus far working across a range of critically acclaimed and award-winning productions including ‘His Dark Materials’, ‘Renegade Nell’, and ‘Top Boy’.

David is soon to wrap on the upcoming second series of ‘Ludwig’, and is a highly skilled and collaborative 1st AD with significant experience on high end productions for leading international broadcasters and streamers.

We’re delighted to welcome Costume Designer Carole K Millar to the Loop Talent Roster.

Carole is a Scotland based designer, predominantly working in Film & HETV.

Carole designed two feature films soon to premiere at Toronto Film Festival - ‘Glenrothan’ directed by Brian Cox & ‘California Schemin’’, the directorial debut from James McAvoy.

Carole recently wrapped on the original series ‘Half Man’ for BBC, created by Emmy award-winner Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer).

She also designed Laura Carreira’s acclaimed feature film ‘On Falling’ as well as TV series ‘ Dinosaur’ for BBC/Two Brothers, ‘Granite Harbour’ & ‘Lovesick’ for Netflix.
