Hey Endo Fam!
Getting an endometriosis diagnosis can feel like a mix of relief and devastation - I know because I have lived it. It took me 15 years to finally get diagnosed. 😔
When the doctors told me there was no medical cure I felt like I’d just been diagnosed with cancer. My emotions were all over the shop —shock, anger, grief, hopelessness and questioning what I did?
But instead of accepting defeat - I went on a rampage for answers ....reading books, journals and researching everything I could.
🌿I refused to believe there was no way to improve my quality of life. Eventually, this path led me to retrain as an Endometriosis Health Coach, understanding pain science, using functional nutrition and lifestyle changes to restore my health and manage my symptoms.
💛 I'll admit it was tough at the time, wrapping my head around all the changes, the trial and error- but today I look back and THANK my old self for taking that first step. Healing isn’t a straight road but every small step matters.
🕊 “For every disease, Allah has sent down a cure.” (Sahih Bukhari)
💡 Key areas that changed my life:
✔️ Anti-inflammatory nutrition 🍎 (Food can heal or harm—choose wisely people!)
✔️ Gut health & hormone balance 🦠 (It all starts in the gut, thanks Hippocrates!)
✔️ Stress management & mindset 🧘♀️ (Your mind affects your body!)
✔️ Functional health coaching 📋 (Personalised healing is key!)
Healing is a journey of faith, learning as well as action - having an integrative approach by combining functional medicine, nutrition, lifestyle changes and most importantly Dua & Tawakkul. 🤲💛
💬 If you’re on your own endo healing journey, I want you to know that you’re not alone! Have you or someone you love faced a diagnosis that tested your faith?
Would LOVE to hear your stories! 💛
