Last spring, I was invited to hold a sound healing seminar and session for a group of men living with prostate cancer in a north London hospital.

It’s one of those moments that stays with you.

The room was quiet at first, some of them unsure, some just curious. Many had never heard of sound healing before. But as the vibrations settled in, I could feel something shift. Shoulders softened. Breaths deepened. There was presence. Stillness. Even emotion.

One of the patients told me afterward that it was the first time in months he felt calm in his body.

I don’t claim that sound healing cures anything. But I’ve seen how it creates space for rest, for release, for peace. And sometimes, that’s what the body needs most.

I carry that day with me often.
And I’m grateful for the reminder that healing comes in many forms.
