Just try and pull yourself up! 💪🏻

Sometimes life knocks you down more often more often than you expect..

You go through setbacks, negativity, or even moments that feel heavier than you can carry…

But just like in training, there comes a point where you have to dig deep, grab the bar, and pull yourself up….

Pulling yourself up isn’t just about strength…
it’s about mindset…

✨Forgive >> let go of what’s behind you so it no longer weighs you down.

✨ Focus on tomorrow >> move all your energy into building instead of dwelling.

✨ Stay positive >> easier said than done but even small wins turn into strength over time.

In fitness, progress doesn’t come overnight.
It’s rep by rep, day by day.

Life is the same….you won’t fix everything instantly, but every time you “pull yourself up,” you build resilience, confidence, and momentum…

So whether it’s in the gym or in life, remind yourself that you already have the strength to rise.

All that’s left is to reach for it… 😉

Ready or not? 👀

Deciding to get fit is the first step…

Now you need to find a way to make it easy for yourself to follow through with your intentions.

Move yourself away from looking for quick solutions because they don’t exist.

Make small, sustainable changes consistently over time,
with sufficient breaks to reassess and adjust your progress.

Real, lasting change takes a bit of time
and quite a bit of patience.

Don’t be a fix junkie…

Play the long-term game instead. 🙃

Celebrate those wins… 🥳

Non-scale victories are NOT to be considered any less of a victory. 😎

Thought I’ll take a moment to highlight some of the great things my 1:1 and online client have achieved. 🥰

It can be hard to celebrate yourself when you’re not hitting your goals - those numbers you want to see on the scale… 👀

Some of you take non-scale victories for granted which I think is a big mistake, because every achievement - big or small - deserves a celebration.

You keep putting one foot in front of the other and marching toward whatever it is ahead of you...

But how often do you truly stop to smell the roses and to celebrate where you are and where you’ve been? 😉

So…

I challenge you to really think about all the things you have achieved and what you’re thankful for this year… 😉

Be thankful for all the roadblocks because they’ll only make you stronger.

And be thankful for your story because it’s one worth telling…

Is it too soon to ask? 😅

We are now in the middle of that golden time between Christmas and New Year 🤩🤩

Don’t you agree it’s a minor miracle
that you made it through the festive season unscathed?
(Well, I hope you did…)

Right now is the time to feel utterly discombobulated and it is mandatory
to ask what day of the week it is at least once every eight hours.

🙃🙃

I am truly making the most of that time. 🥰

I hope you do too…

Rest if you can and try to do all the things you never have time for.

Tomorrow is a new day full of opportunities.

Every day, in fact begins with possibilities.

Tomorrow you can start something different.

Tomorrow you might even have more energy to do it than ever before.

Because… almost every day comes with new strength and new thoughts.

Why should you never rely on motivation?

Because it simply just comes and goes…

It’s always been a miss for me.

To me… it’s like that friend who says they’re going to show up for you, help you out…and sometimes comes… but a lot of the time does not at all. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s really great when motivation does show up in your mind to give you an extra kick… but again, I just couldn’t rely on it.

I’m a creature of a habit and routine.

I’d like to just get on with what I need to do before doing other things.

I’m better friends with discipline.

It can always be relied upon.

Discipline is a like that friend who always sit you down, tell you what’s what and be there for you in the long run. 😎

A friend who will see you through the bad times and actually want you to achieve your goals.

What I can tell you is something I often tell myself….

If you don’t want to do something, but also know that it will be a step towards something you really want, do it anyway. 😉

You’re not always going to want to go to the gym or eat well, and it’s OKAY.

Most good things take time and effort.

If there’s something you really want, you’re going to achieve this by 10% motivation and 90% discipline and determination. 😉

If you’re always waiting around for motivation to show up, you’ll likely never reach your end goal. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Life would be grand if you only did what your fleeting heart wanted to do, each moment of the day.

Life is full of challenges that sometimes force you to do things you don't necessarily enjoy.

However….

These experiences teach you valuable lessons about what you can let go of, what you need to overcome, and what you should learn.

You must be willing to give up something to gain something else, right?

While it may not feel like it in the moment, a little bit of discomfort goes a long way in terms of personal development.

Sure, no one likes that feeling but it’s a big part of improving in the long run.

After all…

Sticking to the plan is more important than nailing it perfectly, every single time. 🙃

For the longest time, I believed that perfection was the only way to succeed.

I was convinced that being flawless in everything I did was the key to success.

But as it turned out, I was wrong.

Consistency is what matters most when it comes to achieving your fitness goals, losing weight, and cultivating healthy habits.

Perhaps you've been hesitant to start working towards your goals because of the fear of not being perfect.

Maybe you're afraid to join a gym because you're worried about your form and exercise performance.

The truth is, you won't be great when you first start out.

You'll make mistakes, and there will be good days and bad days.

But if you commit yourself to something and accept the discomfort that comes with it, you'll eventually get better at it.

You don't have to be perfect to achieve your goals. It's okay to make mistakes, to show vulnerability and weakness.

What's important is that you start and be consistent with your efforts.

Brace yourself for the ultimate health adventure! 🙃

Festive season is approaching so it’s time to get in a better shape, right?

You make a plan of going very low on calories and cutting down all the carbs you can.

No bread.

No pasta.

No fruit.

🙄

It all goes well until it doesn’t and you start to feel tired, sluggish and frustrated…

Your training in the gym feels like a dreadful task and performance isn’t improving…

Your actions are causing discomfort to those around you.…

And you’re constantly tired…

You say "No" to too many things that it causes you to feel restricted and overwhelmed, leading to burnout and eventually giving up altogether.

You lose control…

You overindulge…

You binge…

And then…

You end up feeling guilty and bad…

I Know How To Get Rid of Fat From My Belly and Thighs… 👀

I’ll just do 1000s of crunches and millions of curtesy lunges every day…

Surely, they'll use the fat near them for energy.

Have you ever asked Google how to lose fat from those stubborn areas that you despise?

Fat loss happens via diet, not by certain exercises.

Ready, steady, do it! 🙃

Because your body won’t ever change if you don’t.

There is no question that weight loss takes work, but that work doesn’t need to be painful and complicated.

While there are endless diets, supplements, and meal replacement plans claiming to ensure rapid weight loss, most lack any scientific evidence. 🤷🏻‍♀️

A balance of calorie restriction and exercise is a good way forward, as it means you don’t have to be very restrictive with your diet or very exhaustive with your workouts.

Ditching those stubborn kilograms can feel like a wild roller coaster ride at times, but don't you fret!

You can achieve your goals by snacking smart with fewer calories, bumping up your protein intake, exercising and increasing your daily physical activities.
