“Imagine you go for a walk in the woods.

You’re following the path but as the light starts to fade, you realise that you’ve gotten lost.

You panic, you’ve left your phone behind, there’s no signal anyway, and you’re all on your own.

You try to think of a way out - you look for the position of the sun, the side of the trees that’s covered in moss, passers by, anything external that can help locate you.

But it keeps getting darker, and you’re still lost.

To calm yourself down, you close your eyes and take some deep breaths, and as your heart rate slows you connect back to your innate sense of direction and connection to the natural world around you.

You think you can sense the direction you came from, and you start walking in that direction.

It starts getting lighter and lighter.

You find you’ve actually come out on a different side of the woods, but it turns out you weren’t so lost after all.”

If you haven’t guessed already, you are probably wondering… Jimmy, what is this about?

This is actually something really profound that a client wrote for me recently, when I asked her if she could share a description of what I do.

Comment the word MMM and I’ll send you a DM so we can chat about how I can potentially help you.

Does this sound like you?

❌ You often worry about how others perceive your actions or performance, fearing judgement over even minor mistakes.

❌ You replay conversations or events in your head, wondering if others noticed or thought less of you.

❌ You avoid taking risks or speaking up, fearing that everyone will focus on any imperfections or shortcomings.

❌ You feel like your every move is being evaluated, leaving you anxious and overly self-conscious.

The reason this feeling persists isn’t because you’re under constant scrutiny—it’s because the underlying emotional patterns that cause self-criticism haven’t been addressed.

Many high-achievers try to manage the spotlight effect by perfecting their performance or behaviour, BUT as i’m sure you might have already realised…

👉 This only addresses the surface.

The deeper issue lies in the belief that you must be flawless to avoid judgement.

As a cognitive therapist, I work with high-achievers to uncover these core beliefs and address the triggers that drive the spotlight effect.

Do you want to break free from the constant fear of judgement and feel more confident in who you are? 👉 DM me ‘MMM’ to enquire now.

Sarah has the perfect life, but still felt anxious…

An ex client of mine, let’s call her Sarah for the purpose of this story, is a high-flying lawyer in the city, who came to me feeling…

👉Anxious
👉Lost in her relationship
👉Confused about why she felt the way she did

On the outside, she had it all. A great job, a loving boyfriend and family - The world at her feet.

Yet something STILL wasn’t right.

Sarah would often come to sessions and ask: ”Why am I so anxious when everything is perfect?”

A lot of clients come to me feeling this way, it can be really isolating and confusing to be constantly overthinking and catastrophising when everything in life seems to go your way.

So why DOES this happen? 👇

One reason: Because it’s not the external circumstances or your life situation that creates your anxiety.

But deeper beliefs and judgements you hold about yourself.

You can’t have anxiety without some form of judgment against yourself.

As adults when we don’t understand our anxiety, we tend to fight it. To push it away and move away from the pain.

But… unfortunately… this only serves to make it worse 😞

So what can we do about it? 👇

The first thing I help my clients to understand is that we live in the feeling of our thinking.

So when you uncover what those deeper beliefs and judgements are, and you see past the illusion that's when your anxiety begins to fade.

Do you want to ditch your anxiety 👉 DM me ‘MMM’ to enquire now.

Signs you’re struggling to recognise your own success 👇

→ You downplay your achievements, believing they’re not a big deal or that anyone could have done the same.

→ You quickly move on to the next goal, without taking time to reflect or celebrate what you’ve already accomplished.

→ You feel like success never lasts, as if you’re always chasing the next thing to feel validated.

→ You rely on external praise to feel good about your achievements, but even that never feels like enough.

If this resonates with you, comment ‘YES’ 👀

Many high achievers struggle to recognise and appreciate their own success.

You’ve worked hard, yet you’re left feeling empty or unsatisfied, always focused on the next task or achievement.

The pressure to do more, be more, and achieve more makes it difficult to stop and reflect on how far you’ve already come.

But here’s the thing… 👇

Until you learn to recognise your own success from within, no amount of external achievement will ever feel truly fulfilling.

Do you want to ditch the cycle of constantly striving for more, without ever feeling satisfied?

When you start to understand how your mind works and why you struggle to see your success, you can break free from this cycle and start enjoying what you’ve worked so hard to achieve.

This is exactly how I work with my clients 👉 DM me ‘MMM’ to enquire now.

Does this sound familiar?

❌ You frequently seek reassurance from others before making decisions or celebrating achievements.
❌You feel anxious when you think someone may be disappointed in you, even when you’ve done your best.
❌You’re constantly second-guessing yourself, worried about what others think of you.
❌ You struggle to feel proud of yourself unless someone else recognises your efforts.

If any of these feelings resonate, I hope you know you’re not alone.

Many high-achievers feel trapped in a cycle of seeking approval. It’s almost as if success doesn’t truly count unless others recognise it?

👉 But it’s important to remember that these feelings don’t mean you’re weak or failing.

They’re part of a pattern that many high performers experience—and there IS a way out.

The reason you’ve struggled to break this pattern isn’t because you lack confidence or the ability to succeed—it’s because the real issue hasn’t been addressed at its core.

Many high-achievers think that achieving more or gaining more praise will finally satisfy their need for approval, but this only provides temporary relief.

As a cognitive therapist and clarity coach for high achievers, I have found that the deeper emotional triggers that drive this behaviour must be addressed to experience lasting change ✅

So if you’re ready to stop looking for validation and start embracing your true inherant value 👉 DM me ‘MMM’ to enquire now.

Want to stop people-pleasing?

Here’s the thing: Saying yes all the time doesn’t mean you’re more capable or successful—it just means you’re afraid of being seen as a burden.

Over time, this fear leads to feelings of exhaustion and resentment, both toward others and yourself.

These feelings don’t mean you’re failing—they simply highlight the pressure you’re under and the expectations you’ve internalised about always having to be available.

The reason you haven’t been able to change this pattern is that the real issue isn’t about saying yes—it’s about the deeper emotional triggers and beliefs that drive this behaviour.

Many high-achievers think they need to push through or work harder to balance their commitments, but the key to change lies in understanding and addressing the root causes (which is exactly what I help my clients to do in therapy).

If you’re ready to stop feeling like a burden and start setting boundaries with confidence 👉 DM me ‘MMM’ to enquire now.

Why is it that success doesn’t seem to quiet that internal critic?

You’ve achieved what many people only dream of—success in your career, recognition for your hard work, and a track record of accomplishments.

BUT despite all of this, you still don’t feel “good enough.”

It’s as if no matter how much you achieve, there’s always that nagging voice telling you it’s not enough.

The truth is…

…These feelings don’t mean you’re failing—they’re simply signs that you’ve been looking for validation in the wrong places.

It’s important to recognise that you’re not broken.

You don’t need more achievements or external validation to feel worthy.

The fulfilment you’re looking for is ALREADY within you.

So why do you feel this way?

The reason you never feel good enough isn’t about your achievements; it’s about the way you’ve learned to think about yourself.

Many high-achievers believe that their worth is tied to their accomplishments, but this belief creates an endless cycle of striving without ever feeling truly satisfied.

When you start to understand the nature of your thoughts and how your mind works, you can begin to break this cycle and see yourself in a new light—one that’s not dependent on external success.

If you’re ready to stop chasing external validation and start feeling good enough from within 👉 DM me ‘MMM’ to enquire now.

Are you an imposter / fraud?

Ofcourse not! 🙈

But I know my reassurance alone won’t be enough to help you shake those feelings of fraudulence.

Does this sound familiar…
👉 Do you downplay your accomplishments, believing they’re more about luck or timing than your own skills?
👉 Do you fear that at any moment, someone will call you out for not being as competent as you appear?
👉 Do find it hard to accept praise or recognition because you don’t feel you truly deserve it?
👉 Do you live in constant anxiety, waiting for the day people realise you’re not as qualified as they think?

I have worked with 100’s of high-achievers and top performers who describe exactly this.

& Not only is this impacting their career, but also the way they show up in their personal relationships and at home.

Why? Because feeling like an imposter… is stressful, exhausting and anxiety provoking.

But thankfully… you’re not alone. ✊🏻

Imposter syndrome is a common struggle among high achievers, and it can make even the most accomplished professionals feel inadequate.

But these feelings don’t mean you’re a fraud—they reflect the high expectations you’ve set for yourself and the fear of not measuring up.

It’s okay to feel this way, but it also doesn’t have to be your reality forever ✨

If you’re ready to let go of imposter syndrome and feel secure in your abilities 👉 DM me ‘MMM’ to enquire now.

If these feelings resonate with you, you’re not alone.

Many people experience temporary relief from CBT but wonder why the deeper sense of anxiety never truly fades.

It can be frustrating to feel like you’re doing all the right things, but still find yourself battling the same thoughts and feelings.

It’s important to know that there’s nothing wrong with you - and your anxiety isn’t stronger than others’.

It’s simply that the root cause has yet to be addressed.

Mindful Mastery, my unique blend of Cognitive Hypnotherapy and Clarity Coaching, instead of just offering temporary relief, taps into the root cause of your anxiety.

The reason you haven’t been able to shake these feelings isn’t because you haven’t achieved enough… ❌

👉 It’s because the root causes haven’t been fully explored.

Many high achievers look for surface-level fixes like seeking more success, taking time off or taking on new challenges, but the real issue lies deeper.

When I work with my clients, we explore the deeper emotional patterns behind self-doubt and imposter syndrome.

The method I use helps high achievers understand and address the triggers and ‘protectors’ that drive these feelings, leading to lasting, meaningful change.

Instead of just managing the symptoms, you’ll learn how to break free from the cycle of self-doubt and finally enjoy your success 👀

If you’re ready to start feeling fulfilled and confident in your achievements 👉 DM me ‘MMM’ to enquire now.

I can still remember the night I knew something had to change.

lockdown, 2020. I'm about to become a dad for the first time. I lay awake with my mind racing a million miles an hour. Wriggling, writhing, trying desperately not to wake up my wife.

But I’m all up in my head and I don’t know what to do.

My job was up in the air and I wasn’t happy in my career. I hadn’t been for sometime. But my anxious inner critic had it on good authority that I was stuck where I was forever:

You’re not good enough to do anything else.
You won’t see it through.
You’ll fail.

That same invisible barrier holding me back.

And yet, little did I know that just around the corner was an encounter with a friend training to be a therapist that would change the course of my life forever.

In just a few sessions I was shown where all my limiting beliefs came from (school teachers, comparisons to my brother and parental success that I was never going to live up to) How to see past them and how the stories we tell ourselves are just there to protect us.

They aren’t real. But the effects of them feel very real!

I knew from that moment that becoming a therapist was my life calling. To help just one person experience the mental freedom, the weight lifted from my shoulders that I had, then I will have found my purpose.

Fast forward 5 years and I still think every day how grateful for what I get to do every morning.

So if you’re like the me back in 2020. Struggling with anxious thoughts, self-doubt and feeling stuck…

👉 …DM me ‘MMM’ to enquire and we’ll have a connected conversation to see how I can help.

Does this sound familiar? 👇

❌ You feel constant pressure to perform at a high level, yet you still doubt your abilities.
❌ Despite success, you fear being exposed as not good enough or as an imposter.
❌ You struggle to switch off, always thinking about the next achievement or task.
❌ You feel anxious even when things are going well, unsure why you can't relax.

If any of this resonates with you, you’re not alone.

In fact - at one point this used to be me 🙋 Struggling in the competitive recruitment industry, full of self-doubt and never believing I had what it took to make it.

Many high-achievers experience these feelings of stress and self-doubt, often hidden beneath a polished exterior.

It’s actually common to feel disconnected from the success you’ve built, wondering why, despite everything, you STILL don’t feel content? 🥴

The pressure to maintain high standards can feel overwhelming, and the fear of failure looms large, even when you’ve proven yourself time and time again.

I want you to know 👉 you are not broken or failing; you’re simply dealing with a pattern that many high-achievers face.

Want to say goodbye to anxiety, stress and self doubt? So you can finally enjoy your achievements and feel like you’ve made it?
