Yes, when I look at me and observe my belly and its changes over the last two years, yes I did have gained weight but I also look beyond the simple physical aspect.
In some cases, it is a huge consequence and result of the fact that there's so much more going on in a body and mind.
The biochemistry that is triggered in one's body and mind without is massive and looks not clear to the (dismissive) traditional medicine.
Personally:
4 X my womb - adenomyosis - a pure feast for
Regularly occurring subclinical that it's hard to monitor - and because it's "subclinical" no one's seems to give the right consideration to it which is completely wrong for the cascade of events that it creates, estrogen dominance just to name one.
ever since: super high estrogens inflammation, adrenal fatigue, you name it; maybe even that doctors do not know what it is. Do you know it can start even 10 days before the most OBVIOUS menopause? The no obvious doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Anemia, what else to add ...
Having a chronic desease makes the work super hard taking all your body's energy up;
Digestive problems which don't allow proper nutrients absorption: cravings, foggy brain, poor hormone metabolism...
sore legs and in the end, migraine. Inside persistent tearing, stabbing and pitching sensation in the lower belly for 2 weeks;
And least but not last: energy for exercise is more or less 0, especially when all the above occurs all together. Feeling like your body is not your own anymore.
But all of this is teaching me something and leading somewhere (still not clear where).
I have learned that judgemental ppl come from ignorance, and I have learned to recognise this and being completely detached from: "It's not possible that you are always sick"; "You are making a mountain out of a hill"; "You are taking too many things"... "Oh gosh, you have put on weight. You looked better with few kilos less";
That looking up to someone who's making more progress in life in general than me is detrimental if I don't take into account that they are healthy whereas myself I have to cope and juggle in between all of the above and powering through.
That there are plenty of people out there that struggle and maybe put themselves in hands of dieticians who just and only gives you a 1200 cals diet or easy gurus who even don't ask you for blood tests, what is going on in your life and what kind of life you lead. Or GPs that do not consider "urgent" your situation. Just give you pills.
That any kind of whatever underlying condition you might have, BELIEVE ME, most of the time you don't realise how much it is affecting you because it's dormant and/or kicks in slowly slowly over time and you get so caught up in it and used to it, that you forget how to have fun/what fun is without even realising it;
That it's easy to be tempted and just let that pill diminish the symptoms. Or that surgery. Your choice. But how about the short/long term effects??? How about the root of the cause though???
In some cases yes, there is no other way.
In others, especially if taken in time, there are plenty of alternatives. Don't trust fake healers of course (now everybody knows everything about how to say and teach 'Feeling your body' or is an expert about it?!?) or even specialists that don't have a deep understanding of what it's going on specifically within you and YOUR body or give a fixed/standard protocol, but only trust who really know about your specific conditions and treat you holistically.
And monitor you.
THIS IS HEALING.
That journaling your body and being sure doctors are LISTENING actively are crucial.
Considering all the above, I am still keeping myself very good, I manage to thrive in my day-to-day life, little by little, I just need more time than before.
Being humble in my slow achievements because that is the pace that my body can handle at the moment is acceptance.
The most important thing is moving on, however the pace, and I let the healthy bodies going quicker than me. I need to have my pace. Full stop. I will shine my way.
It's a hard job being on a nutritional plan and specific supplements where you need to follow a no-extrogen-triggering AND anti-inflammatory diet to keep you get going. Even the workout has to be different, tailored and paused when needed. And the supplements too have to be tailored in quantities and quality. They are pricey. Well, I go out less then. Better going out less because I am curing myself rather than because I am sick and in pain.
It's also a matter of bracing yourself and tighten your belt too because all of this has a cost. But you will find also some pro-bono or low cost doctors/practitioners that are not venal or mercenary, which speaks a lot on what kind of doctors are like
Good luck if you are tackling any health condition.
And never like ever, I truly appreciate eastern medicine, herbs and alternative medicine. And the thoroughness, patience and determination of my body and mind WITH THE RIGHT HELP AND SUPPORT.
The body is your best laboratory; you are the best doctor for yourself. What is not obvious to the traditional medicine doesn't mean that doesn't exist. Do you know they can't detect everything?
I am really grateful to
pubme website;
liberadaidolori.it
My functional medicine practitioner and the one in New Zealand and British Columbia;
My Italian herbalists;

And,

.. to be continued... Of course I will conquer it. Needless to say.
