💫 Beads, Bracelets & Big Smiles! 💫

Our residents had an absolutely lovely time at bead-making workshop! 🎨✨ With just a handful of colourful beads and a sprinkle of imagination, they created their very own unique jewellery pieces — and had a brilliant time doing it.

It’s always wonderful to see so much laughter, creativity and joy in one room. 💕 Who knew a few beads could bring so much fun?

🎤✨ Musical Magic ✨🎤

What a fabulous afternoon we had with the incredibly talented Ellamae, who lit up the room with our favourite songs from classic musicals! 🎶

From Sister Act and Annie to Thriller and Phantom of the Opera, the lounge was alive with music, memories, and joy. 💃🕺

Our residents were in their element — singing along, clapping their hands, and sharing big smiles all around. It’s these moments that bring us all closer together and make our home feel truly special. 💛

🌞 We said goodbye to summer in true style! 🌭🎶🍔

Our end-of-summer BBQ was a smashing success, filled with laughter, music, and mouth-watering food! Residents tucked into sizzling hotdogs, juicy burgers, and delicious BBQ chicken – all washed down with a variety of refreshing drinks. 🍹🍗

The sun was shining, the weather was glorious, and the atmosphere was even better. A huge thank you to the wonderful Lizzy for her brilliant performance – the music had everyone smiling and singing along! 🎤✨

It was a fantastic afternoon of great food, great entertainment, and even better company. Here's to making memories and cherishing every moment together. 💛

🛋️ A Lovely Morning Outing to IKEA Croydon! ☕🍫

Our residents enjoyed a delightful morning exploring the beautiful displays at IKEA Croydon. From cosy living room setups to vibrant kitchens, there was plenty of inspiration to chat about – we shared stories of our favourite things to buy and how we love to decorate our homes.

It was a stroll down memory lane for many, and a chance to imagine new possibilities too! 💭✨

We rounded off the trip with a well-earned cup of coffee and some delicious chocolate treats – the perfect way to end a fun and inspiring outing. 💛

🍪 Baking Bliss! ☕️

There’s nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked treats to lift the spirits – and that’s exactly what happened this week as our residents rolled up their sleeves to bake delicious chocolate chip blondies! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

From measuring and mixing to plenty of laughter along the way, everyone got stuck in and truly enjoyed the process. Of course, no bake is complete without a proper cuppa, and our blondies were the perfect pairing. 💛

Simple moments like these bring so much joy – and a little bit of sweetness too! 🍫✨

🧀🍷 Cheese & Wine Delight! 🍷🧀

What a brilliant afternoon our residents had, enjoying a lovely selection of wine, cheese, and crackers – all served with plenty of smiles, chatter, and good company. 🎶

The soft hum of music in the background set the perfect scene for laughter, conversation, and a chance to unwind together. It’s these little moments that bring so much joy to our home. 💛

🥞 Waffles, Warmth & Wonderful Company

There’s nothing quite like the smell of freshly made waffles wafting through the home – and it just so happens to be one of our residents' favourite treats! 💛

Our lovely residents got hands-on in the kitchen, helping to make the waffle batter and mixing all the ingredients with care (and a sprinkle of laughter too! 😄).

Once the waffles were golden and warm, everyone tucked in with a delicious selection of fresh fruit, indulgent sauces, and a dollop of cream on top – pure joy on a plate! 🍓🍫🍌

Simple moments like these bring so much happiness – and a little sweetness – to our day. 💫

🐾 Paws-itively Wonderful Visit! 🐶💛

We had a very special visitor – the lovely Poppy the therapy dog and her wonderful owner, Peter! 🐕👨‍🦳

Our residents were absolutely delighted to spend time with Poppy – there were cuddles, smiles, and plenty of tail wags all around! 🥰🐾 The calming presence of a therapy dog like Poppy does wonders for wellbeing, lifting spirits and creating joyful moments for everyone involved.

Thank you, Peter & Poppy, for bringing such happiness to our home. 🐶✨ We can’t wait to see you again soon!

What a fantastic time we had at our Summer Carnival Party with the wonderful Jamie! 🌼🎤 The garden came alive with music, laughter and sunshine as our residents danced, clapped and sang along to their favourite tunes. 💃🕺

The weather was glorious, the atmosphere was joyful, and the smiles said it all. 🌞✨ Moments like these remind us how special live entertainment can be — lifting spirits, creating memories, and bringing everyone together. 💛

There’s nothing quite like a relaxing arts & crafts session to brighten up the afternoon! With soft music playing in the background, our residents enjoy unwinding with a spot of colouring — a wonderful way to express creativity, socialise, and simply enjoy the moment.

These calming sessions not only bring joy, but also help to keep minds active and spirits high. Just look at those smiles! 😊

There’s nothing quite like a little self-care to lift the spirits! Our lovely residents enjoy regular pampering sessions – from fresh manicures and nail painting 💅 to a visit from the hairdresser for a wash and style 💇‍♂️💇‍♀️.

These moments aren't just about looking good – though they certainly do! 😉 – they’re about feeling good, boosting confidence, and enjoying a bit of well-deserved indulgence and relaxation.

The laughter, smiles, and sense of calm say it all. Our residents truly love these sessions – and we love seeing them shine ✨

At Acacia Care Centre, we understand the importance of physical activity – not just for the body, but for the mind and soul too. That’s why our residents enjoy a variety of fun and engaging exercise sessions throughout the week! 🌟

From energising workouts at Burns Virtual Gym, to gentle chair exercises with our amazing physio Nilton, and uplifting exercise classes with the lovely Juliana from AGE UK – there’s something for everyone to enjoy. 🪑💃

The smiles, laughter, and boosted energy levels say it all – our residents love taking part! 💖
