March has been a truly special month across our homes, filled with meaningful celebrations and shared experiences that have brought residents and teams together ✨

From raising awareness during Nutrition and Hydration Week to enjoying the energy and fun of St Patrick’s Day, there has been something for everyone to take part in. We also proudly celebrated International Women’s Day, recognising the inspiring women within our communities, and marked Mother’s Day with thoughtful moments of love, gratitude, and reflection 🌷 🚺 🍎 🍀

Life across our 46 homes is shaped by these moments, both big and small. They create a sense of belonging, spark conversation, and bring joy to everyday life, making each home a vibrant and supportive place to live 🏡💜

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the official opening of the Amethyst Suite at Lynwood Care Centre 💜

It was a truly special day, and we were delighted to welcome so many members of the local community to celebrate this milestone with us. We were honoured to be joined by the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead, Councillor Mandy Brar, alongside local professionals and friends of the home.

A special thank you to cellist Miriam Lowbury for the beautiful music, which created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and to The Little Flower Pot for the stunning floral arrangements 💐

The day also gave us the opportunity to recognise Dawn, Care Services Manager at Lynwood Care Centre, for her exceptional dedication and commitment over the past 24 years, a truly well-deserved moment.

The Amethyst Suite will offer compassionate, specialist dementia care within a beautifully refurbished environment, including access to a stunning rooftop garden designed to support wellbeing and meaningful daily life.

At Gold Care Homes, moments like these highlight the importance of community and the strong relationships we build around each of our homes. We are incredibly grateful for the support and look forward to welcoming more families into this very special space.

Today is the final day to experience Whispers of the Mind at Harrow Arts Centre 🎨

This special exhibition showcases artwork created by residents from Kent House Care Home, exploring memory, imagination and personal stories through creativity.

Over a series of workshops, residents brought their ideas to life through painting, drawing and mixed media, with their work now proudly displayed in a public gallery.

The exhibition has been a powerful reminder that creativity has no age limit and that every voice deserves to be heard.

From Valentine’s celebrations and pancake making for Shrove Tuesday, to learning about Chinese New Year and enjoying visits from some very special furry friends, it’s been another month full of smiles, creativity and time spent together.

We recognise that delivering high-quality care extends beyond the walls of our homes. Strong professional partnerships within our local communities are essential to ensuring families receive well-rounded, informed support when they need it most 💜

Our Customer Relations Manager, Gerald, attended a networking event at Braintree Town Hall hosted by Holmes & Hills Solicitors. It was an excellent opportunity to connect with local professionals and discuss ways to strengthen community support across the region.

Through our care homes in Braintree, The New Deanery care home and St Mary's Court Care Home, we see first-hand how collaboration makes a difference for families.

We would like to thank Holmes & Hills for hosting a well-attended and productive event, and we were pleased to connect with organisations including Home Instead UK and Lambert Chapman LLP.

At Gold Care Homes, we will continue to build strong professional networks that enhance the experience of our wonderful residents and strengthen our wider communities.
