International Physical Therapy Academy (IPTA) and Maple Tree Cancer Alliance (MTCA) Sign Memorandum of Understanding
The International Physical Therapy Academy (IPTA) and Maple Tree Cancer Alliance (MTCA) are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at fostering collaboration in advancing cancer rehabilitation and integrative care.
This partnership will focus on developing joint training programs, research initiatives, and community outreach projects that enhance the role of physical therapy in cancer care. By combining IPTA’s global expertise in physiotherapy education & global reach with MTCA’s pioneering work in oncology rehabilitation, the two organizations seek to empower practitioners and improve the quality of life for cancer patients worldwide.
Leaders from both institutions highlighted that the MOU marks a significant step in building international synergies that bridge education, clinical practice, and research. Together, IPTA and MTCA will work to expand access to evidence-based rehabilitation and promote innovation in cancer survivorship care.
