Tai Chi at JW3 - Winter 2026
Discover the art of balance, calm, and vitality through Tai Chi with experienced teacher Shira Klasmer at JW3.
Rooted in a lifelong passion for movement and wellbeing, Shira’s teaching brings together Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong to support both physical health and inner harmony. Tai Chi is a gentle yet powerful whole-body practice, combining slow, flowing movements with mindful breathing and meditation. Through regular practice, students cultivate greater flexibility, coordination, inner strength, and stability, while reducing stress and encouraging the free flow of Qi (energy) throughout the body.
In these classes, Shira introduces movements from the Yang style Tai Chi form, alongside Qi Gong exercises designed to deepen awareness, presence, and vitality. Whether you are completely new to Tai Chi or looking to reconnect with your practice, these sessions offer a welcoming and accessible entry point into this ancient Chinese art.
Shira began her Tai Chi journey at the age of 15, training under Master Linjun Wen at San Ling College, and completed her three-year instructor training in 2001. She has since studied with world-renowned Tai Chi masters and continues to deepen her practice, currently training at the Chris Handbury School of Qigong. A Senior Instructor member of the Tai Chi Union of Great Britain, Shira has over 20 years of teaching experience in North West London.
Join Shira for weekly Tai Chi classes at JW3 on Wednesday and Friday mornings, and experience a practice that nurtures body, mind, and energy.
