Photo dump from my last Postnatal. I had the privilege to support this beautiful first time mother from her arrival from hospital until baby boy was 8 weeks . When i left mom was fully capable and felt confident bathing, nursing, managing meals and rest. The bond i make with every family is special and truly priceless. I love my job 💕💕💕

Baby girl born today!!! This birth showed me once aging that a mama’s body at birth is unpredictable and the main thing is to listen to mom. When i arrived to meet this mama she was resting on her left side been told she was 1 cm dilated. This mama gad called me telling me she was rushing to hospital as she needed to push.
3 hours later she did indeed push her little girl out. No walking, no swaying no massaging. This mama just relaxed controled her breathing. From 1 to 10 in 3 hours. This was definitely a record for me

This post is for all the BRAVE, FEARLESS, STRONG, BEAUTIFUL, GENUINE, SMART and COURAGEOUS MAMA’s I had the absolute privilege to support in the last year. The ones that birthed by caesarean section , induction, physiological or using an epidural. You are all amazing ! I am so proud to work and support woman daily and to be there at one of the most important and special time of their lives. I love my job ! Happy International Women’s day Ladies ! 💕💕💕💕
