At Lyle House, we’re always looking for ways to support our residents to live as independently and happily as possible 💛

Ursula had been spending quite some time in bed, but thanks to the dedication and care of our Home Manager Jo, a physiotherapist was arranged to visit and provide specialist support.

With this encouragement and guidance, Ursula has made wonderful progress, she’s now able to get up and out of bed, enjoy her meals more independently, and spend time sitting in the garden soaking up the sunshine ☀️

Even better, Ursula has been able to visit the salon again and have her hair styled just the way she likes it, something that has truly lifted her spirits.

We’re so proud of Ursula’s journey and grateful to our team for making moments like these possible 💫

We had a truly heartwarming day at Lyle House Care Home as we welcomed some very special visitors from Monkey Puzzle Nursery 💛

As part of our “Small Hands, Big Love” arts & crafts project, the children joined our residents to create a beautiful shared canvas. Tiny painted hands were carefully pressed onto the artwork, each one adding a splash of colour and a whole lot of love. 🎨

The room was filled with laughter as everyone got involved, not just with painting, but also playing games and spending quality time together. These precious moments between generations are so meaningful, bringing joy, connection, and smiles all around.

Thank you to the wonderful children and staff from Monkey Puzzle Nursery for making the day so special. We can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! 🌈

We had a wonderful time at our Easter Coffee Morning here at Lyle House Care Home! 🌼🐣

Residents, families, and local professionals came together to enjoy a lovely morning filled with delicious pastries, plenty of tea and coffee, and lots of laughter. ☕🥐

Our Easter quiz brought out everyone’s competitive spirit, well done to Gladys for winning and taking home a well deserved Easter egg! 🍫🏆

A lovely day out for our residents at the Museum of Brands! 🏛️✨

Our Lyle House family enjoyed a wonderful outing, taking a trip down memory lane as they explored familiar products, packaging, and advertisements from years gone by. There were plenty of smiles, stories, and shared memories along the way 💬💖

Outings like these are so special, they spark conversation, bring back cherished moments, and create new ones together. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success!

Lights, camera, action! 🎬✨

Here at Lyle House, we rolled out the red carpet for our very own Oscars event, and what an afternoon it was! 🌟 The trophies were polished, the prosecco was popped, and both staff and residents got fully glammed up for the occasion. 🥂💃

Our wonderful residents were the true stars of the show, receiving awards for Most Glamorous, Best Sense of Humour, Best Smile, and many more. The room was filled with laughter, joy, and plenty of well deserved applause. 👏🏆

We then danced and sang our way through the afternoon to some all time favourite hits, creating memories we’ll cherish for a long time to come. 🎶❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who made this special event possible. At Lyle House, every day is worth celebrating!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Jean’s special day! 💖

The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and of course… a delicious birthday cake that everyone enjoyed! 🍰✨ Jean also had a lovely pamper session with our fantastic hairdresser, leaving her feeling extra special and looking fabulous. 💇‍♀️💕

Spending time together with friends made the day even more meaningful, creating beautiful moments and memories to treasure. 🥰

We celebrated Mother’s Day with a truly special touch 💐

Our residents enjoyed a relaxing pamper session with our wonderful hairdresser, bringing smiles, confidence, and a little extra sparkle to the day. We also got creative with arts and crafts, making beautiful pieces filled with love and memories.

One of the most heartwarming parts of the day was spending time reminiscing, sharing stories, laughter, and cherished memories of our mothers and the incredible impact they’ve had on our lives.

It was a day full of warmth, reflection, and appreciation for all the amazing mums and mother figures who mean so much to us 💖

🌸☕ Springtime Cuppa at Lyle House Care Home ☕🌸

We had a wonderful time at our monthly Coffee Morning here at Lyle House, and this month’s theme was Springtime Cuppa! 🌼

Residents, families, and local professionals came together to enjoy a lovely morning filled with delicious coffee, great conversation, and plenty of smiles. Our guests also put their knowledge to the test with a fun spring themed quiz, which brought lots of laughter and friendly competition.

A big well done to Team Dot who came out on top and took first place in the quiz! 🏆👏

We were delighted to welcome some very special visitors recently, the wonderful children from Monkey Puzzle East Sheen. 💛

Our residents had a fantastic time taking part in activities together, sharing stories, laughter, and plenty of smiles. The room was filled with joy as different generations connected, chatted, and created some lovely moments together.
