On our recent Minibus Trip out we had the pleasure of going to see the fantastic art and had a wonderful time seeing all the beautiful famous paintings and sculptures up close.

Halloween was Royal at Lyle house with our residents and staff wearing crowns,
we enjoyed party games, bubbles and a delicious buffet.

This week Dr Steve came and told us all about the Fab Four, the residents loved the music and film clips of the Beatles ,and it inspired us to start our Choir Singing Souls with one of there songs Twist and Shout.
the Singing Souls Choir is for residents ,staff ,family and friends of Lyle house and we will be holding regular Practice sessions so if you would like to join in and sing with us please let us know.

This week our Resident Marc got back behind this camera to take stunningly beautiful portraits of our fantastic residents .
Marc has had Hollywood superstars and the royal family sitting in front of his camera we are looking forward to the next photo shoot.

This Week we has the actress Sarah Huntly come to Lyle House to read and discuss some of her most loved pomes.
it was a fantastic afternoon the residents enjoyed hearing about Sarah's work and spoke about there own connections to showbiz.
the residents asked if Sarah would come back next month and read poems that they love.
