Hypnotherapy is a wonderful and hugely effective way to help people to identify and alter beliefs that are no longer useful for them, access their positive inner resources and gain a deeper understanding into themselves. Hypnotherapy creates long lasting changes on an unconscious level, so whilst I will give you the practical tools to help you to maintain the changes, your unconscious will already be doing a lot of the work for you. I am passionate about empowering my clients so that they feel excited for the future and more confident that they can navigate life's ups and downs. This is why I like to teach my clients practical tools and techniques that they can use by themselves after our therapy sessions have finished.

What is Hypnosis?
Have you ever been so immersed in thought that you haven’t heard your name being called?
Or driven a familiar route to work and have no memory of the journey?
Have you ever nearly missed your stop on the tube because you were day dreaming about a past holiday?
These are all examples of Hypnosis which is something that we experience many times every day, when our attention moves from what is going on around us, to our inner world.
All of our abilities, resources and memories are stored in the unconscious part of our minds, and Hypnosis allows access to them. This can be very useful for letting go of behaviours or beliefs that are no longer beneficial to us, and making positive long lasting changes. When we are in hypnosis, our minds become open to suggestion and taking on positive new learnings and ideas, which can also increase our confidence and creativity to make those positive changes.
A qualified Hypnotherapist will help to guide you into a pleasant state of Hypnosis, using words and often relaxation. Then with the use of relevant therapeutic techniques, the Hypnotherapist will work with you to help you achieve your desired outcome.
