Join me for an extended Yin Yoga practice to embrace the changing seasons. As the seasons shift, it is a great time to work on grounding the body to brace the change happening all around. Yin Yoga is a wonderful way to ground the body and find equilibrium. All levels and abilities are welcome. 

Yin Yoga is a style of yoga for all bodies that involves long holds in various seated and reclined poses to access deeper layers of fascia and to quiet the mind. 

There are three elements of Yin Yoga: find your edge where you can feel sensation but without straining; remain still; and allow yourself to stay for time—three to ten minutes depending on the posture. It’s a simple practice with profound therapeutic benefits for longevity, vitality, flexibility, and more.

The session will conclude with an option essential oil temple massage.

In this 90 minute yoga and essential oil experience you will be transported to a world of relaxation and ease, as you learn the many effects of essential oils on mood, health and wellness.

Throughout this 90 minute yoga experience you will be lead through a gentle, restorative flow, all inspired by the essential oils.

Essential oils are not intended as a cure for any ailment; rather, they helps the body maintain a sense of equilibrium and well-being. You will walk out of this session feeling refreshed and grounded with a newfound understanding of the powers of essential oils.

Feeling refreshed and ready to take on this week! I’ve been fighting off a cold for a week now and have truly been practicing what I preach, taking time to rest and care for myself ❤️ It’s working wonders!

This time of year is so tough. It’s dark, it’s cold and it feels like everyone is getting sick! But it’s also a time urging us to slow down, to be cozy, and to enjoy staying in. Over the years I have learned time and time again the importance of rest and self kindness especially when feeling under the weather. And I have created a workshop that is all about just that! I taught my Immune System Boost workshop recently and I’ve got another one coming up Thursday, 27th Feb in case you missed it 🙏🏻

Join me THURSDAY, 27th February, 6-8pm for my 2 hour Immune System Boost Workshop!

Did you know that yoga can boost your immune system? There are specific yoga postures, breathing techniques and essential oils that can help fight off sickness. And when the days are shorter and colder we need all the help we can get!

This workshop will give you practical information about improving your health through the practice of yoga, meditation, breathing and essential oils. This practice will incorporate slow mindful movements to target specific areas in the body where we often hold tension and stress. Stress is one of the most common reasons why we get ill. Learn how to notice your stress and how to let it go through a combination of yin, restorative and yang yoga.

The session will conclude with an optional essential oil temple massage with my very own “Health Blend” which I swear by! Each participant will take home their very own “Health Blend” to ward off any unwanted sickness as well as a handout with Emma’s “Top Tips For Staying Healthy.”

After a very merry and restful break with family I am flying back this evening to London! I’m so excited to get back to teaching! I’m so happy I’m even smiling doing Chaturanga! 😂😍

I am so proud of how far I’ve come this year. I have grown so much and have truly taken the reins on my life. 🥰

I took risks, made tough decisions as I learned how to choose myself! I’m starting off 2025 with 10 regular classes every week! I am so grateful to all of my wonderful students, for your support and encouragement as I learned so many important lessons including the importance of rest! I have truly rested this year and it has felt amazing! A lifestyle I will continue to enjoy in 2025. 🙏🏻

AND I am so excited to announce that from Friday, 10th January, I will be teaching a new class at 12:45pm weekly! I’m so grateful to add another class at the lido - such a gorgeous community ❤️

Join me Thursday, December 12th, 6-7:30pm for my last workshop of 2024

I will be using different oils from the 2 other Aroma Flows I’ve done at the Charlton Lido, so if you’ve come to the last two you will have a completely new experience! This workshop is for all levels and abilities and welcome to nonmembers as well as better gym welcome. All welcome!

✨NEW CLASS ALERT!✨

I am so excited to announce that I will be teaching another Restorative Flow class Fridays 4:30-5:30pm. This class is the perfect way to let go of the work week and unwind for the start of the weekend.

🪷A little bit more about Restorative Flow 🪷

This class will begin with a guided meditation to allow your body to ground and settle in the room. You will then be lead through a mindful breathing exercise to slow down your parasympathetic nervous system (Rest/Digest System). This will lead into gentle slow mindful movements to give you awareness of how your body is doing and what it needs. Then, you will be guided into Restorative yoga postures that will be held anywhere from 4-10 minutes, using lots of props so that your body feels supported and held. Restorative is a passive practice where the goal is sensationlessness so that the body can truly relax and let go. You will walk out of this class feeling relieved of the week that has passed.

🪷Yoga and Essential Oils at Charlton Lido 🪷

I had the most amazing time leading 13 wonderful humans through my Aroma Flow: Yoga and Essential Oils workshop this past Saturday. In this workshop we explored 6 different essential oils through a slow gentle flow. I was so inspired by everyone’s curiosity and openness.

I have gotten quite a few requests for me to teach another Aroma flow Workshop before the new year… I want to get your feedback! Would you be interested in a 90 minute Yoga and Essential Oils workshop in December at The Charlton Lido? Would you prefer a Thursday evening or a Saturday afternoon? ✨Embracing Change✨

I love autumn… I love this time of year… The leaves change color, the weather shifts. Change is in the air. But it can also be scary. Scary to think ahead to the darker and colder days.

I had such a lovely chat with my sister yesterday about the seasons. She talked about preparing for winter. She reminded me that this time of year is always hard, it’s always tricky - changing and shifting. But we can learn from our years past and prepare. So this year she’s stocking up on vitamins, cozy socks and a lamp to combat seasonal depression. Genius! After I spoke to her, I got online and did something that (if you can believe it) I haven’t done since moving here 7+ years ago. I BOUGHT MYSELF SOME WELLIES!! I am always miserable in my wet socks and shoes. No more! 😍😂 Just to be clear this isn’t about to be a rainboot ad 😂 what I’m trying to say is stop avoiding taking action to make your life better! Buy the rainboots! I now have rainboots, waterproof trousers, 2 rain jackets 😂 and an umbrella. I am ready! 🌧️🍂

How does this have to do with yoga? Well, just as the weather changes, so will your practice. That is okay. Take action to make your life easier, more blissful. Take that yin class, spend a bit longer in Savasana. Let your body guide you and tell you what you need ❤️

🪷Mindfulness at the Workplace🪷

I am so excited to launch my new Mindfulness at the Workplace offerings! I am very much looking forward to breaking into the corporate world and helping more people who work long hours at desks bring mindfulness and calm to their daily life!

Time and time again, I have seen office spaces transformed by the power of movement, breath work and healthy habits — all things that can be taught. In this modern world, it is all too easy to be overstressed and constantly tense. My job is to get people moving in simple, yet effective ways, to release endorphins speeding up productivity, improving company morale and decreasing stress.

I specialize in teaching those who are completely new to yoga. No matter where you come from, everyone can find benefits and use from the practices of yoga whether through mindful stretching, calming breath work and/or encouraging self talk. It is my job and pleasure to lead people on their journey of yoga.
