Tonight’s Full Moon lunar eclipse is not subtle.

Full Moons illuminate.
Eclipses accelerate.

They tend to bring to light what has been operating beneath the surface - long-standing emotional patterns, relational dynamics, identity stories that feel older than we can explain.

When I speak about “karmic,” I’m pointing to repetition.
The patterns that keep looping. The wound we unconsciously organise our life around.

Chiron - the Wounded Healer - represents this paradox.
The place that hurt us is also the place that deepened us.

Healing isn’t about erasing the wound.
It’s about no longer being defined by it.

Sound can support that process because it works beyond narrative. Vibration interacts directly with the nervous system, often helping the body discharge what the mind has normalised.

A stop on the A30 in Oct 2023 after attending an overnight Gong Puja with a cohort of graduates from Gong Practitioner Training led by my mentor Sheila Whittaker.

This year I step into this role myself as a Gong Tutor for the college with a cohort starting on 7-8 March in Queen Camel, Somerset.

I’m also co-facilitating an overnight Gong Puja with two of my colleagues at COSH and Annette Shaw this Saturday 28 February at Moulsford Pavilion in Oxfordshire.

✨ Becoming a Gong Practitioner isn’t something you can rush.

Three-day or ten-day intensives can teach techniques - but they can’t give you embodiment, confidence, or a real relationship with the gong. Healing, presence, and holding space are learned through time, practice, and lived experience.

This CMA-accredited Gong Practitioner Training is a one-year mentored journey. Between each weekend, you integrate, practise, heal, and deepen your connection with the gong step by step. You don’t just learn how to play - you become a practitioner.

You go through your own transformation first, because you can only guide others as deeply as you’ve gone yourself.

This is why graduates of leave confident, grounded, and truly ready to hold space for others.

💨 Science is finally validating the wisdom of the breath 💨

New research shows that conscious connected breathing (also known as circular breathing) creates measurable changes in brain activity and blood chemistry - changes that reliably lead to altered states of consciousness.

A 2025 peer-reviewed study found that intentional breathwork lowers CO₂ levels in the body, triggering shifts in awareness linked with emotional release, insight, and expanded perception - without substances.

Another study showed changes in cortical brain rhythms and experiences comparable to psychedelic states, simply through breath.

✨ What mystics, shamans, and yogis have always known:

What is a Gong Bath?

A gong bath works through vibration and frequency to release energetic blockages and bring the body into a state of equilibrium and co-regulation.

The sound waves interact with the body on both a cellular and energetic level, calming the nervous system, easing tension, and supporting the body’s natural healing processes.
