On Monday the United Kingdom will have a bank holiday to mourn the loss of Her Majesty The Queen. 🤍

Queen Elizabeth II was our longest reigning monarch and was loved by so many.

Her funeral will take place on Monday and we send our condolences to everyone who is in mourning.

UK covid infections lowest since last October. 📉

The covid rate for England is Just 1 in 70, down from 1 in 15 in July!

This is great news not just for England but the rest of the UK also as UK infections fall below 1,000,000. ❤

One in 70 people now has the virus, but not all parts of the UK are still seeing falling infections.

Free blood pressure tests at the local chemist's could save 4,000 lives, NHS chiefs say. 🩸

Officials began rolling out the checks for those aged 40 and over in October. They predict 5.5million people will take up the offer by 2025, with 550,000 likely to need treatment for high blood pressure.

News from the NHS. 📰

NHS England patients with Type 1 diabetes will now be eligible for life-changing continuous glucose monitors after the health service secured a new cut-price deal.

Patients will receive their starter pack – which will include information on the product and usage, a sensor and transmitter – from the hospital or GP surgery once prescribed, after which they can go to the pharmacy for their repeat prescription.
