Hello again, as we enter 2025! 👋
It's time for another intro and some new up to date pictures!

Hi to all my new followers, I love how my account has organically grown into a safe space, where I can share what I love, for you to reach out, connect with so many other practitioners, health advocates and people seeking the right Osteopath for them.

I'm Gurkartar, an Osteopath and specialist paediatric Osteopath with nearly 9 years of experience.
And a fairly new mum to a beautiful boy who just turned 1!

My practice every few years evolves, and my love for Osteopathy expands each time!

I learn from my patients when treating them and help them address their root causes.
The chances are you think Osteopathy is about bones, cracking, and injuries only... but wait... it's WAY more than that.

It is a system that identifies health and disease. Integrating the body back to its central nervous system.

Aligning and balancing the bodies physiological equilibrium through working with your anatomy.

All by hands-on treatment!

I treat babies, children, and adults with a huge variety in clinical presentation and health concerns.

Pain often brings people to my door step but, the root cause tells me a whole different story, and by examining and correctly diagnosing the root cause is how I help you in your journey to recovery - by making long term changes that will stay with you, not quick fixes.

World Mental Health Day

The journey of motherhood is beautiful, like my heart is going to burst with joy but, one of conflicting emotions.
A chance to reinvent yourself again - not because you didn't like yourself previously but to be a better person for this little human and ladies, you know exactly what I mean by this.

9.5 months in, and I have truly taken you in my stride. I am truly reinventing, changing the narrative, and rebirthing myself as a woman.

Thank you, Tegh, for you are
Teaching me to be a better version of myself in many ways,
You let me take you to my business meetings and actually let me have a conversation!
Your hugs and warm touch make mine and Daddy's heart full
Your cries melt my heart

This is a 1.5hr appointment where a complete check will be done for both Mum and baby, and treatment will be delivered.

No more ni**le shields just after 1 treatment! ✨️

This lovely baby was only 10 days old when her lovely parents brought her to me.

Their midwife recommended the baby to receive Osteopathy (thank you midwife).

She had a forceps delivery, so they bought her in for a check-up.

I'm so glad they did as the examination found the forceps had been clamped across the face and head awkwardly.

This resulted in her jaw and face bones not aligning with the back of her head.

Hence, her latch was affected, causing mum to wear shields.

We are treating her a few times to help align her whole body until she can grow comfortably by herself.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧The whole family dynamics can be positively changed for parents by setting early foundations in the baby. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
