Aido Sungoh, a turmeric farmer I met from Sanarep Village. She is 1 of the 11 members of Lakyntulang, a women’s farmer group. She talked about how they pool funds together and share skills to improve productivity. What’s really cool is how they’re all about community building, whilst juggling household work and farming. Talk about multitasking.

"So that's what turmeric tastes like...
This is a revelation. I've been used to the dull woody tasting stuff you get in those micro jars and always wondered if that was it. On opening the jar (hand-filled by the way), I was struck by the freshness of it. Sure it has some woodiness to it, but there's also a tiny hint of cinnamon, and something that just tingles your nostrils.
Mixed with fresh lime juice it really comes alive - great for rice dishes, or add a teaspoon to Pot Noodle (yes that's not a typo) to make a snack zing"
