Too many dreams are not lost… they are denied access.

True story!

One of the many harsh realities of living in this world with a disability. Annamae’s momma had to call around to various different dance schools to see if they would “accept” her. All but denied her because of her wheelchair/disability. This speaks volumes! Representation, and inclusion are still a daily fight for those with disabilities.

What do we do? We create awareness (like this video) and representation through our books and social media campaigns.

This is how we should start thinking as a community.

Not “they can’t”…
but “how can we make it possible?”

Inclusion is not complicated.
It starts with intention.

And sometimes, all it takes is one idea
to change a child’s experience completely 💛

We don’t talk about this enough.

Early intervention can change everything.

At our recent Medical Outreach, we saw it ,
not as a theory, but as reality.
Children who needed support…
but received it too late.

Not because their parents didn’t care.
But because the system didn’t show up early enough.

And the truth is, early intervention doesn’t just help…

💛 It improves outcomes
💛 It gives parents direction
💛 It changes the future of a child

So the real question is:

How do we get there?
How do we build a system where children don’t have to wait?

Because hope delayed… can change everything.

Constantly learning on this journey of disability parenting, and so much of that learning comes from my daughter. She continues to teach me about resilience, strength, and determination.

If only I could go back to the early diagnosis days and tell myself not to worry so much, that together, you learn and adapt and find exactly where you’re meant to be.

5 years ago… we said yes to something bigger than us.

Not fully knowing how it would unfold.
Not having all the answers.
But knowing that something had to change.

5 years later…
we are looking at lives touched,
families supported,
and a community that is no longer walking this journey alone 💛

From pain… came purpose.
From one story… came many lives.

And through it all, one thing has remained constant:
hope.

to every child we’ve encountered,
to every partner and supporter,
