Who’s our event for?

Simply put, EVERYONE!

But especially the Black and ethnic minority community.

This is because we know there is a lack of uptake of holistic health in the community having seen this through research & our professional work as physios.

This applies to ALL AGES! There’s no specific age to start Generational Health, so why not start in July with health professionals by your side!

We want to make a difference to ALL, so let us help you!

We’ve had some questions as to why we are hosting an event this summer & here’s our WHY:

Holistic health is deeply rooted in the understanding that all aspects of physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs affect overall health in yourself and others.

Though we understand as healthcare professionals that there isn’t enough public education on holistic health and how important it can be to look at the bigger picture.

And as always it’s because we are For The Culture, By The Culture.

Keep an eye 👀 as we roll out more information about our even in July!

OUR NEXT WEBINAR! 🚨

This May we sacrificed our monthly webinar to have 2 in June! And we are proud to have Dr Dawn Muci as our guest covering all things concussion related!🧠

Dr. Muci has been a physical therapist for over twenty years, after graduating from the University of Miami (FL) with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) and completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) at University of St. Augustine (FL). She is a board certified specialist in sports physical therapy (SCS) and currently works at the University of South Florida where she splits her time between the D1 level athletes and the on site physical therapy clinic. Dr. Muci focuses her practice on helping individuals in the performing arts, post concussion rehabilitation, and high level performers and athletes. She started working with performers at Walt Disney World in Florida which led to an opportunity as the full time PT/ATC at Disney’s Lion King on Broadway in NYC. After completing her contract at Lion King, she joined Cirque du Soleil working both in the Resident Shows Division and the Touring Shows Division, completing over 10 years of service. Recently, Dr. Muci has also worked for the Miami City Ballet during the Nutcracker season and touring Broadway shows as they travel through the Tampa region.

Dr. Muci has extensive experience in treating concussions as a senior physical therapist at Stanford's Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine clinic as well as managing professional athletes as she worked as a Primary Health Care Provider (PHCP) position at the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). While touring with the WTA for four seasons, Dr. Muci was the coordinator for the physicals program, special rankings, and was a member of the athlete care team. Dr. Muci has held national leadership roles with the Performing Arts Special Interest Group (PASIG) of the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (AOPT).

30th April at 7pm, make sure you’re free as this will be one you won’t want to miss!

STUDY ALERT 🚨

Are you a Black physiotherapist with less than three years experience in the field?

Then these three amazing students need your help! they are exploring the perceptions and experiences of individuals like yourself as part of their dissertation.

As an area of research within physiotherapy, which is lacking in depth. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction for the professional.

Please contact them by the stated emails on the poster or DM & /

As with all research studies, a greater number of individuals sampled, the better and more realistic the results are, so please lend them a hand!
