As the year comes to a close, we’re reflecting on what Spires has achieved in 2025 💜

This year, Spires supported 774 people through our Rough Sleeper drop-ins, Women’s Space, Croydon Refugee Service, and s*x worker outreach. Our team worked to provide housing support, health access, and financial and benefits advice to those experiencing homelessness and poverty in south London.

While we are proud of our work, we know there is a lot more work to be done in 2026.

This year’s Big Give Christmas Campaign raised a record-breaking total of £19,462.93 for Spires!

These funds will go directly to supporting:
💜 People who are experiencing homelessness
💜 Women who are engaging in street-based and/or survival s*x work
💜 Newly-granted refugees

The success of this campaign was a testament to the community who support Spires. From £5 to £1,500, every single donation from the 85 people who gave to our campaign helped us to reach this milestone.

Today Spires Staff and clients visited Lambeth Together's Health & Wellbeing Bus.
It provides information, guidance and support on a range of health issues.

During the course of 2024 Spires helped 119 people with their health. 52 people were supported to attend a health appointment or register with a GP. 28 people were supported to engage with mental health services and 12 people referred to drug and alcohol support.

11 people into a night shelter
30 people with a Streetlink referral

63 people with their health
28 people to attend a health appointment
14 people to connect with drug and alcohol services
17 people to connect with the mental health team

76 people to start or maintain benefits
21 people to address legal issues
