Honoured to contribute to the 9th Int’l Live Endoscopy Conference in Riyadh (KSA 2026)🇸🇦
I performed a successful live case by endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) of a complex colorectal lesion located in the ascending colon, alongside the president of the European society of gastrointestinal endoscopy Prof Cesare Hassan, and delivered a lecture on saline immersion/irrigation (SITE) ESD 💧🎓
Many congratulations to Dr Abed Allehibi and the organising team for an outstanding scientific programme, combining high-quality live endoscopy with structured, high-yield teaching and a truly international faculty 🌍👏

What an outstanding experience at Egypt Gastro Hep 2025! 🇪🇬🔥
An honour to be invited once again as an international expert, actively involved across multiple key educational activities — from live colorectal ESD, to faculty lectures, and intensive teaching during the crash courses.
Performing live ESD cases and discussing the endoscopic management of complex colorectal lesions and polyps with such an engaged and motivated audience was truly rewarding. The level of interest, interaction, and clinical curiosity from colleagues across Africa, the Middle East, and beyond was exceptional.
This meeting continues to confirm its unique status as one of the oldest endoscopy conferences worldwide and the leading endoscopy platform in Africa and the Middle East, with a strong focus on practical, high-level education. Congratulations to the course directors Prof Ibrahim Mostafa and Mostafa Ibrahim.
Proud to contribute, to teach, and to share experience at such a historic and impactful event.
Already looking forward to what comes next 🚀

An incredible day at King’s live Endoscopy 2025!Huge congratulations to Mr Amyn Haji and the whole King’s College Endoscopy Team for putting together another outstanding edition.
It was a pleasure to be part of it again and to connect with so many colleagues pushing our field forward.
This meeting truly delivers it all: live cases, top-level lectures, hands-on training, and an atmosphere of real clinical excellence. No doubt the leading British endoscopy conference.
Proud to contribute and always inspired by the energy of this community.

Incredible experience at the clevelandclinic Ohio Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection / Endorobotics Symposium 🙌
An outstanding event — congratulations to and for the exceptional organisation and world-class hands-on program 👏
Honoured to take part as faculty representing clevelandcliniclondon, contributing a lecture on (Saline Immersion / Irrigation Technique) and its pivotal role in the management of complex colorectal polyps.
Grateful for the opportunity to share my experience and to strengthen the collaboration between Cleveland Clinic London and Cleveland Clinic Ohio, united by our passion for advancing therapeutic endoscopy 🌍

Congratulations to Dr. Emad Aljahdali, MD. and the entire organising IGCC 2026 – Jeddah team for this immensely successful meeting.
It was a pity not to be there in person this time, but I was delighted to join remotely and deliver a presentation on “From Prediction to Action: Endoscopic Assessment of Lesions, EMR vs ESD” — discussing the risk of submucosal invasive cancer (SMIC), its management, and the latest evidence guiding our practice.
I also had the pleasure of presenting a saline-immersion/irrigation technique (SITE)-ESD video case, illustrating how we perform this technique at the Royal Free Hospital, where it was first introduced.
For those interested, the videos of my presentations are now available on YouTube https://lnkd.in/e_wRaeaZ.
Always a privilege to exchange knowledge and share innovations with the international endoscopy community — congratulations again to the organisers for setting such a high standard.

Excited to share that I’ll be speaking at the upcoming Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection/Endorobotics Symposium.
This symposium will cover innovative, minimally invasive techniques in Upper and Lower GI Endoscopic Dissection and Resection, including hands-on labs and key topics like patient evaluation, follow-up care, pathology, and billing.
I’ll be presenting a video case review on underwater Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection on Day 2 and am looking forward to sharing insights and connecting with colleagues.
It was a real pleasure to share my experience on the endoscopic management of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours, during the Italian congress dedicated to neuroendocrine tumours, expertly chaired by Prof. Panzuto.
A huge thank you to the organising committee and to the Gastroenterology team of Rome for the kind invitation and warm hospitality. 🙏
Always a joy to reconnect with colleagues and friends, exchange ideas, and contribute to the progress of our field. 💪

🇮🇹 A memorable celebration of the Italian in the stunning setting of the National Gallery in London.
The event, hosted by the Consul General of Italy, Console Domenico Bellantone brought together members of the Italian and British community to honour the values of our Republic — democracy, culture, and unity.
It was a true privilege to take part in such an elegant evening, which beautifully showcased Italy’s enduring spirit and its strong ties with the UK. An honour to be part of this community.
W l’Italia, W la repubblica Italiana!

Feeling grateful for this kind feedback from a recent patient who came in for a colonoscopy and colonic polyps treatment.
It’s always a privilege to provide care that leaves patients feeling reassured and well looked after.
Three key highlights I’ll take home from this fantastic edition of 2025:
1. It was a great honour to present the preliminary data of a multicenter European study on the risk of covert deep submucosal invasion—nearly 2,500 ESDs across 17 centres. A massive thank you to all collaborators for making this possible! Currently finalising the data analysis of 4000 ESD!
2. I’m incredibly proud of our Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust endoscopy fellows—Dr Alessandro Rimondi, Dr Elisabet Maristany Bosch and Dr Georgios Kalopitas —who had 14 abstracts accepted and 7 oral presentations! It’s a real joy to watch you grow under the guidance of my dear friend and colleague Dr Edward John Despott UOM and myself.
3. I was once again delighted to be part of the faculty, surrounded by brilliant colleagues. With Prof. Hassan now at the helm, the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) is in excellent hands and will continue to thrive.
Next stop the International AEM Malta 2025—see you there!
