Feelings are important but it’s what we choose to attach feelings to that can cause stagnation in the body. Feelings are wonderful and experiential but they are for moments…not to hold onto forever….allowing freedom to feel “in the moment” rather than ignoring them and allowing them yo get stuck in the past or future, frees up the mind and body to be in flow. One might experience all feelings in one day! Accepting (all) feelings leads to forgiveness and releases the mind/body from inflammatory thoughts. If feelings become stored, they stagnate in the mind/body and this can cause inflammation. So, if there is pain,, taking the time to ‘be with’ it and seeing what feelings come up is helpful. .

Zinc is an important mineral that is necessary for human health. It is involved in a variety of biochemical reactions in the body and is required for the proper functioning of many enzymes. Zinc also plays a role in immune function, wound healing, and fertility. Despite its importance, zinc deficiency is a relatively common problem, especially in developing countries.

Zinc deficiency can have a negative impact on health, including impaired growth and development, delays in sexual maturation, reduced immune function, and increased susceptibility to infection. Some groups of people are at greater risk of zinc deficiency than others, including infants, pregnant women, vegans, and the elderly. canned foods can also lead to zinc deficiency. Increasing intake of zinc-rich foods such as meat, poultry, seafood, nuts, and seeds can help to prevent zinc deficiency. Supplements may also be necessary in some cases.

Nutrient deficiencies are a common problem, but they can often be difficult to identify. In many cases, the cause of the deficiency is actually hidden. Pyrrole or pyroluria is a condition that can lead to nutrient deficiencies, and it is often undiagnosed. Pyroluria is characterized by the production of too much pyrroles. These pyrroles bind to vitamin B6 and zinc, making them unavailable for use by the body. This can lead to deficiencies in these essential nutrients. Symptoms of pyroluria include fatigue, anxiety, irritability, and sensitivity to light and noise. Nutrient supplementation can be an effective treatment for pyroluria. If you suspect that you may have this condition, it is important to see a doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

Your gut health is your immune system. And when it’s healthy, so is yours.

A healthy microbiome is composed of a diverse range of microorganisms that live in our gut. These microorganisms are vital to the function of our immune system.

The gut-brain axis is a two-way communication system between the brain and the gut, which regulates stress levels, mood, and cognitive function. A lack of diversity in the microbiome can lead to chronic inflammation, which can cause depression and other mental health problems.

A healthy microbiome supports a strong immune system by producing helpful antibodies and other immunological molecules that protect us against pathogens or infections.

Your gut microbiome – A fascinating world within.

What is the gut microbiome? How does it affect our health? And why should I care?

Our gut microbiome is another important component of our body. It consists of trillions of bacteria living in our intestines. These microorganisms play a crucial role in maintaining our overall health. They produce vitamins, regulate digestion, and even influence our mood.

Probiotics are essential for good health, but they aren't always easy to get.

A healthy gut microbiome helps us digest food properly, absorb nutrients, and fight off infections. This means that a balanced gut microbiome is essential for overall well-being.
