🎤 We’re proud to be speaking at the National Wound Care Conference

Georgina Ritchie from Accelerate CIC will be presenting at the 19th National Wound Care Conference on Friday 6 February 2026 in London.

Her session, “Optimising Compression in Lower Limb Ulceration: What if the Treatment Plan Isn’t Working?”, will focus on practical strategies to support clinicians when standard approaches aren’t delivering the expected outcomes.

✨ One of the highlights from December was spending a truly magical day with patients from across parts of the East of England, facilitated by the wonderful Matt Hazledine of Lymphoedema United.

Attendees were incredibly brave and courageous in sharing their personal experiences of living with lymphoedema. They exchanged practical tips on how they cope with this chronic and often isolating condition, while making new connections, building friendships in their local areas, and opening up new avenues to progress with their management.

The day included a festive movement session inspired by the 12 Days of Christmas - with squatting while pouring the sherry proving to be a firm favourite! We also hosted a Q&A session with experts, covering all things lymphoedema and associated biomechanical challenges.

At Accelerate, we value the voices of patients - the true experts in their condition - and we are committed to supporting people in ways that genuinely make an impact. This was a very special day, and we look forward to supporting more events like this in the future.
