As the holiday season picks up pace a reminder to invite rest into your day. Simple practices to calm your nervous system can go a long way in busy times. We are gonna be doing celebration and slowing down on 11th Dec at our monthly gathering, but here's some things we can do in our day to day.
1. This seat is called Viparita Karani and is usually done with extended legs, and often with support of a wall. The sofa version is lovely way to calm the body.
2-5 a range of savanana. Remembering the pose is inviting us to release to the floor. So you can mix up your shape to make that happen in your body.
6 - seated meditation - but really simple. Sit still for a few minutes and notice what is happening. Lengthen the exhale if that feels possible.
