Meet Annie, our 300th Merton Moves finisher!

She’s shown amazing commitment to the programme (funded by Merton Council) by trying a variety of exercise classes and told us how the support we've given her has made a real difference: 'The help from Wimbledon Guild has had a great impact on my life — it’s given me more confidence.' She also shared how the classes have improved not just her physical fitness, but her mental wellbeing too: 'These activities have helped with my wellbeing, especially if you're someone who can feel stressed.' Annie especially enjoys our tai chi and pilates classes.

We’re so proud to celebrate this milestone with her!

Did you know? We offer free counselling (online or over the phone) for people who:
• are housebound,
• struggle to leave the house, or
• care for someone who is housebound.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk about your thoughts and feelings in a safe space and without judgement.

You’ll meet with a qualified counsellor who understands the impact that being housebound can have on both the mental health of the person being cared for and the carer.
