Dear Relatives,
We hope your year has begun beautifully, offering you a fresh start and an opportunity to reflect, meditate, and plant seeds for the cycle ahead. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support and participation in our events throughout 2024. It was a busy year filled with meaningful moments, healing around the fire, and the warmth of shared community.
First, we would like to apologize for the last messages we sent. We were experimenting with a different way to communicate via email, but we have decided to return to our previous approach. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we realigned with what works best.
Last year, we had the honor of welcoming many elders, medicine women, and men from diverse traditions, helping them share their wisdom and teachings. Their presence enriched our space, spreading knowledge, wisdom, and the sacred fire.
As we step into 2025, we are excited to continue this journey, welcoming new faces into our center, hosting authentic events, and supporting individuals on their paths of connection and awakening. The Inti and Waira House remains a safe and sacred space, offering access to various traditions, rituals, and ceremonies. This year, we invite you to join us monthly for Sweat Lodges and overnight circles. Additionally, we will be opening one-on-one and group hand-drumming birth ceremonies and shamanic drumming classes.
2025 begins with a special opportunity to learn from Don Santiago, a renowned Mazatec elder who carries Olmec wisdom and shares it across the globe. As a healer and master of various medicines from the Oaxaca region, Don Santiago will not only guide us on a path to health but also offer one-on-one healing sessions.
At the end of January, we are thrilled to welcome Hugo “Pajaro” Road from Mexico. A storyteller by nature, Pajaro embodies the richness of Mexica culture and Lakota traditions. He will take us on a journey through time, connecting us to the beauty and gifts of the ancient Mexica culture.
We look forward to gathering around the fire with you this year. Thank you for being part of this journey.
With gratitude,
