World Art Day at Riverview Lodge
Today, Riverview Lodge was bursting with colour, creativity, and a touch of artistic genius! Our residents truly embraced World Art Day, picking up their brushes, pencils, and imaginations to create some incredible pieces.
From bold, Picasso-inspired masterpieces to beautifully detailed colouring, every artwork told its own story. We even discovered a few hidden talents along the way — move over famous artists, Riverview Lodge might just be the next big gallery in town!
More than just art, today was filled with laughter, self-expression, and proud moments as our residents brought their ideas to life. It’s days like these that remind us how creativity has no limits and no age.

Come along and enjoy a warm, friendly morning filled with tea, treats, and great company. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect, relax, and spend quality time together in a welcoming environment.
Weather permitting, we’ll be hosting the event in our beautiful garden to make the most of the spring sunshine.
If the weather isn’t on our side, we’ll be gathering in the Cedar Unit Lounge instead.
This event will also be a fundraising opportunity, with all proceeds going towards enhancing activities and experiences for our residents.
We look forward to bringing everyone together for a cheerful and memorable morning. We hope to see you there!

Wishing everyone a very Happy Passover from all of us at Riverview Lodge.
Our residents and their families enjoyed a wonderful celebration together, with a beautifully arranged table featuring traditional Passover refreshments. It was a truly lovely occasion filled with warmth, reflection, and togetherness.
The atmosphere was made even more special as everyone enjoyed listening to traditional Passover songs, creating a meaningful and joyful experience for all who attended.
We are delighted to have been able to share this special celebration with our residents and their loved ones, creating cherished moments and lasting memories.

We had a truly lovely Easter tea party that our residents absolutely loved! The afternoon was filled with delicious treats, traditional hot cross buns, and plenty of chocolate.
Residents enjoyed taking part in our Easter egg hunts, both in the garden and in the lounge, bringing lots of fun, laughter, and smiles all round. A wonderful way to celebrate Easter together and create special memories!

Riverview Lodge was acquired by MHA in December 2007. The care home is situated in a quiet residential area off Blackbird Hill in Kingsbury.
There is a beautiful shared garden that overlooks a stream and adjacent church land, and ample parking space is available in the car park and adjoining cul-de-sac.
The home is built on three floors, which are served by a lift. Each floor has its own lounge and dining area. There is a range of specialist baths and showers on each floor to offer comfort and privacy when bathing, and there is also a hairdressing room.
Well-equipped offices, kitchen and laundry facilities aid an efficient staff team, and all laundry is done on the premises. Television, including cable, is accessible in each room as well as in the lounge where television and stereo systems are provided.
A staff member says: “Riverview is a special place and has that wonderful homely feel to it. Residents come to Riverview and remain happy and content. They feel needed and heard, and those who may have once felt lost in the ancient system of old age and forgetfulness are now enriched and cherished throughout their days. Riverview has wonderful staff, and a happy loving atmosphere, a pleasure to be part of.”
