Merton Talking Therapies aims to be inclusive to all members of our community. One way that we do this is by providing interpreters in any language including British Sign-Language. Another way is via our website which includes the Recite me toolbar.
This helps those with common conditions like sight loss and dyslexia, access our website in the way that suits best. Features include the ability to have website text read aloud; change font sizes and colours; and translate text into more than 100 different languages.

Bowel cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the UK and the second biggest cancer killer—but it’s treatable and curable, especially if caught early. Many people with bowel cancer have no symptoms at first, which is why screening and awareness are so important.

âś… Who is at risk?
🔹 Most cases occur in people over 50, but it can affect anyone.
🔹 Family history and lifestyle factors can increase risk.

âś… What can you do?
🔹 Take part in NHS bowel cancer screening if invited.
🔹 Know what’s normal for you—if something changes, see your GP.
🔹 Live a healthy lifestyle to reduce your risk.

🧠 Parkinson’s is different for everyone. From movement difficulties to mental well-being, finding the right support is crucial. If you or a loved one are affected, you are not alone.
