Massive thanks to both Southwark Playhouse, and the very talented Ollie Madigan, as we caught his own one man dark humour play dealing with grief.
After losing his mum aged just 15, handling that whilst still dealing with teenage life, moving house, and girls, was tough.
This play was terrific, had us laughing but also emotional.
And to cap it all he very kindly came out to chat with us afterwards, asking questions, and getting our group photo too.

I’ve been busy on another funding application today as I want to relaunch our Saturday exercise session at Sobell Centre in Islington on Saturday mornings. We had a class prior to Covid and would like to be able to offer a weekend event.

A brilliant visit to the Tate Britain on Saturday.
We timed it so well.
Joining in a fabulous free guided tour at midday around Animal references (including grotesque human/animal hybrids) in British Art from, amongst others, Francis Bacon, Hogarth, and Damien Hirst (seeing his Sheep in Formaldehyde).
Then, after a lovely coffee/tea we had a further cracking free guided tour around JMW Turner, which was really interesting.
