Tired of feeling hijacked by racing thoughts? Ready to respond instead of react? You’re in the right place.

Functioning fine. Quietly falling apart.

Just because you’re coping
doesn’t mean it’s not costing you,

You show up
reply to messages
keep everything ticking over

And still feel like you’re holding it all together by a very thin thread

Because functioning and feeling okay on the inside
are not the same thing

You can be managing everything outwardly and still feel one dropped plate away from it all falling down

❌Maybe you still snap at people you love

❌your brain never switches off
When you’re on high alert

❌even the “nice” things start to feel like pressure

You deserve more than coping

Trying to talk yourself down can
actually escalate things fast.

What starts as “calm down, it’s not a big deal”...

Can quickly become:

“Actually though, why did they say that?”
“And why does this always happen?”
“Now I’m even fuming”

Thinking about an emotion doesn’t always make it smaller. Sometimes it makes it louder.

Anger doesn’t always need more analysis.
Sometimes it just needs somewhere to go.

A breath. A shake. A walk.

Something that moves it through
your body rather than keeps it spinning in your head.

Because you can’t think your way out of a feeling.

🤔Have you ever tried to logic your way out of anger and ended up more wound up than when you started?
Hit like :)

Your thoughts aren’t the problem

I know it feels like they are,
the looping
the overanalysing
the “why can’t I switch this off?”

But your mind isn’t broken
it’s responding to a body, that doesn’t feel safe yet

When your system is on edge, your brain speeds up
👉🏻 trying to predict
👉🏻 control
👉🏻 and protect

That’s why thinking your way out
only works temporarily

Because the signal underneath hasn’t changed
When your body starts to feel safer,
your mind doesn’t have to grip so tightly
it softens.

Not because you forced it to
but because it finally can

If this helped you see your overthinking differently
start noticing when your body is already on edge
That’s where the shift begins

Overthinking isn’t always a thought problem.

Sometimes it’s a nervous system
that never learned how to fully exhale.

When the body feels safe, the mind stops trying to protect you with constant noise.
