How is your sleep pattern?
Nearly all of the supplements I take are for my sleep. (Except an awesome omega 3, collagen & astaxanthin) Because I feel if I sleep well everything else falls into place anyway.

1st pic 💤 Many people know magnesium helps with sleep BUT make sure it’s Bis Glycinate or Glycinate. This particular brand gives us a heavy sleep.

2nd pic 💤 L-tryptophan. The pre cursor to serotonin. You can find this in some foods we eat like kiwis, Walnuts, butternut squash seeds & mushrooms

3rd pic 💤L- Theanine, I actually take this in the day for a nice calmer if things get a bit stressy as it promotes relaxation.

4th pic 💤Taurine - this gets a bad press as it’s in energy drinks. But it’s in them to take the edge off the over stimulation of caffeine and you literally feel your mind start to come down a notch or two! I take half an hour before bed!

If you love a self help book or interested in improving yourself or your life in any way, we’re friends already!

I struggle a bit with the point of novels (anyone else?) although when I burned out I read 2 fantastic novels based around war to ground me again 😌 let me know if you’re interested 👇🏽

Ok so in reverse order - this is quite hard as they are all so different and fantastic in different ways.

📘6 The body keeps the score (well dog eared from referencing). This was my top read at the time but others have knocked it off. A monumental book in the wellness industry.

📙5 Stuffocation. The unnecessary crap we have in our home cluttering up our minds & lives. An interesting history as to why consumerism got like this it makes you not want to be a part of it. Suggests you pack everything up label it and if you don’t go into the box in 6 months then get rid! I never did. Damn 😩

📗4 Staying alive in Toxic times. If you know me you know I don’t want anything toxic on my body because the body has to process it out. Another absolute gem it covers EVERYTHING.

📕3 hormone repair manual. I reckon I have only had 2 peri menopausal (I call them) episodes and 4 cyclical headaches by the age of 50 due to this book and recommendations on each symptom. I pass tips on to every female client!

1 & 2 because I can’t make my mind up which is better:
🏆It didn’t start with you. I had 2 of the biggest 💡 moments in the 1st chapter. It’s about generational trauma. I used to say I think I might be stressed but I don’t feel like it’s my stress. It’s true. In one sentence: 3 generations are always connected as when a woman is pregnant with a daughter the egg she carries is forming in the fetus. I’ll let you have your own lightbulb moment!

🏆The Power of Now. The bible of self improvement books. If your friends say “my live will be better when - I retire, I leave this country, I make more money etc. They desperately need this book. Transitioning from an amazing time in Sri Lanka back to London last month people were saying oh imagine coming back to all this. After this I’ve had an insane mindset shift!

My perfect health tracking device. I love this wearable, I’ve had it for just over a year now and whilst I know it’s not been my best year for my personal health improvements (while setting up our new hotel & retreat and the mountain of things that come with that has got in the way a bit.)
I’ve at least been able to track my stress levels and - try and make time for some self care (reflexology!! 👣) when I see stats go in the wrong direction. I’m 50 next week. So there’s always room for improvement 😳💪🏾

My nan. How did she live this long? No point in asking the 30 year old influencers who haven’t been there. She cracked the code. How?

Here’s some of my theories.

Firstly, obviously she didn’t use all the biohacking devices I use now, she didn’t stand barefoot in her garden grounding herself. Damn it. She didn’t rattle like I do from a stack of supplements. She didn’t stress over looking for a non toxic version of bleach, viakal, washing powder, mascara, tin foil, cling film, plastic food container etc etc. or care that she was putting hormone disrupters all over her body. She used Ponds and Oil of Ulay for 100 years 😂 Wonder how they fair up the if they are still going Lol. She definitely drank alcohol. 🤯 But In moderation!

However she :-
✅ was NOT a worrier. DID NOT STRESS. The key!!
✅ WAS from a butcher family and only ate good quality meat VERY regularly. The higher fat content the better.
Read The Great Cholesterol Con for why fat is not the devil. A must read. She was on the larger size. But she was healthy.
✅ Cooked her meals from scratch

✅ She also never started on any medication. Which generally requires another type of drug to combat the side effects of the first one and then the second & so on. It’s called the Polypharmacy Phenomenon. She just never got in that loop. Which can affect our brain chemistry.
And she thankfully never got dementia, she didn’t get cancer. She just signed out 2 weeks after her birthday in November and passed quietly at 103 years old. She had an extension put on her house when she was 99 by the way 😳 But went into a home at 102 when my mom had to deal with my dad & cancer and help her and a decline happened otherwise I think she would still be here if she was in her own house. Lol

So take what you will from it. And before I get abuse for pharmaceuticals I totally understand people need medication and it’s mostly fantastic but it has side effects you can see why I choose not to wherever possible.

As you can see she wasn’t used to a smart phone and was a bit shocked to see herself in it 🥹🫶🏼 and wasn’t as sharp as she was normally.

But she was hardcore..

Ladies as soon as you feel the familiar pain coming reach to this point on your foot. It works for me within a minute if I ever get period pains.

❤️Share with your tribe and show them you don’t always need pain killers.

❤️‍🩹If we do get pains it is a warning sign that something isn’t right. It might be common but it’s not normal. But I’m pretty healthy and occasionally I do still get them. But nothing like what I used to. So here’s your hack if something’s out of balance. And let’s make the natural way the first stop.

This week is World reflexology week! Does reflexology really calm your stress? Let’s look at the facts.

The stats on these 3 different graphs from 3 different clients show how relaxed you really do get.

📉 2nd slide This was a 15 minute taster in a busy event. See how the heart rate goes down to 47 BMP within that 15 minutes. Amazing

📉3rd slide My clients sent me this after her session. her BPM dropped from 72 to 61 BPM

📉 4th slide This client came at 9 am and you can see how deep she went at that point.

WHERE WE REST WE REPAIR . And this is why it’s my favourite treatment out of all of the treatments out there. It’s like you get a full 9 hours in 45 (or even 15 minutes in one case!)
