The segment featured a demonstration of a treatment for hair loss that involves semi-permanent hairpieces customised to each individual and is seen as an alternative to surgery. Our 14 year old client came to us suffering from Alopecia Areata, also known as spot baldness, which is a condition in which hair is lost from some or all areas of the body. Often, it results in a few bald patches on the scalp as shown in the top section of these photos. The photos in the bottom section reveals our client’s hair after 3 months of wearing our non-surgical CNC hair system . “ I am a massive advocate of cosmetic solutions for hair loss which have come a looooong way since the toupee!

Sophisticated bespoke hair systems are a highly effective, safe and useful treatment for a wide range of hair loss conditions, but especially where there is a defined area of hair loss or thinning eg male pattern balding, female pattern hair loss, trichotillomania, chronic alopecia areata, burns, and some forms of scarring alopecias.

The system is designed to camouflage the area of hair loss/thinning whilst blending into your surrounding hair. Systems can be used as a temporary measure whilst waiting for treatments to start working or as the long term solution.

The affixation method varies from system to system ranging from clip-ins, intralace wig system and medical grade glue. The CNC Hair Replacement System is a medical-grade, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal prosthesis, which replicates the look of your own natural hair and scalp and blends seamlessly with your existing hair. In simple words, its a 3D Printed Hair System which is an advanced hair prosthesis technology that originates from Cesare Ragazzi Laboratories to delivers a safe, completely natural non-invasive solution for any male or female experiencing hair loss or thinning.
During each client’s measurement and moulding process, we discuss all aspects of the prosthetic including scalp colour, hair colour, overall density, texture and density per hair strand.
