Babies normally need many introductions before liking a food. The fact that you see food thrown on the floor, squished rather than eaten doesn’t mean your child is a picky eater.
Give them a chance to try foods again and again.
TIPS TO HELP:
1. Wait a couple of days before offering the food again. It can take more than 10 times before your toddler might like it.
2. Mix new foods with foods you know your child likes.
3. Try eating the food first to show your child you like it. Then, let your child try it.

Normally these behaviours often go away by the time your child is about 5 years old.
