This is a true short story. Once upon a time there was a lady who wanted a subtle lip enhancement but was afraid after seeing botched jobs, over-filled and duck-like lips. And so one day she walked into my clinic….Happy ending 🙊😅

In this session I treated the hollowness under the eyes with dermal filler. You will notice that another issue she has under the eye is milia (the small bumps under the skin). For the milia there are several treatment options but she opted for a home topical treatment and so will use a topical retinol cream at home at night.
What is the tear trough? - it’s the groove between your lower eyelid and cheek
💉 Treatment? - Dermal filler can be used to restore volume and reduce the dark circles under the eyes. Note as a bonus as dermal fillers boost collagen production it can also reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Often filling the cheeks before treating the tear trough can lead to a much better outcome.
✅ Result? - A rejuvenated, fresher appearance 👍

Progress review 😊.
This lady has been having a combination treatment of chemical peels and microneedling. The second photo was taken before her vampire facial today.
As you can see there has already been a significant improving in her texture and scarring!!
Often treating skin concerns is not an overnight process, a thorough consultation is undertaken at your first appointment to determine what treatment would best suit you. At each clinic appointment we keep photos for medical records to assess progress.

Vampire facial !!
So a lot of you will have heard of this treatment. It’a a fantastic treatment which combines microneedling with the healing factors in your own blood to improve skin texture, colour and elasticity.
A sample of your blood is taken and then spun in a centrifuge machine. This separates the plasma rich platelets (prp) section of the blood which is the yellow you can see in the test tube. This part of the blood is rich in healing factors.
By introducing prp into the skin via microneedling, several channels are created which in itself stimulates the skin to heal itself.
Overall- younger, brighter skin with reduction of scarring! 😁
Note I will do another post explaining its use in hair loss.

Let’s put aside my (attempting to be modest) awesome skills with a needle (🙊) for this post. You know what makes me happiest about each Before and After- it’s the story behind each patients journey.
