Everyone! All abilities are welcome, no experience is required. I make adjustments and modifications for each asana (posture) so that it is accessible to everyone.

🧘🏻♀️Why practice yoga?
The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit word 'yuj' which means to unite and connect. Yoga is much deeper than the physical practice of asanas (postures), it’s time to connect with mind, body and spirit, which we don't often find in our fast-paced, busy lives.
Yoga can be transformational, it can improve our physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. There are so many benefits to yoga; it stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system (your rest-digest state) that has a calming effect on the body and mind, can help relieve stress and anxiety, helps improve flexibility, strength, and balance, and prepares the body for sitting in meditation (the 7th limb of ashtanga yoga, leading to the final limb samadhi - enlightenment or bliss).
