Today we say goodbye to one of our beautiful, friendly, and hardworking team members, Sarah. Her kindness, politeness, and gentle nature have meant so much to everyone at Hamilton — residents and staff alike. 💛
Sarah always brought peace and tranquillity wherever she went, and her caring presence will be truly missed.

Her farewell has left us all feeling quite sad, but we are also so grateful for the warmth and compassion she shared with us every day. 🌼
Sarah, you are a lovely person and a wonderful human being, and we wish you all the very best on your next journey.

You will be missed more than words can say. 💖

🎉✨ New Year Party at Hamilton Nursing Home – Welcome 2026! ✨🎉

We welcomed the New Year with a truly lovely afternoon celebration at Hamilton Nursing Home! 🎶💃 DJ David serenaded our residents and their families with beautiful classic songs, filling the room with joy, nostalgia, and plenty of dancing. Residents, staff, and families came together on the dance floor, sharing laughter and unforgettable moments. ❤️

The celebration was complete with amazing finger food, lots of wine and prosecco, and a huge raffle, making the afternoon even more exciting and festive. 🥂🎁

What a wonderful way to begin 2026 — surrounded by music, togetherness, and happiness. 🌟
Our staff are refreshed, smiling, and ready to start the New Year full of energy and positivity!

On Saturday 20th December, we were delighted to welcome the Beavers for a lovely Christmas visit. 🎄

They brought beautiful handmade gifts and spent time chatting with our residents, spreading festive cheer and smiles all around. A truly heart-warming visit that captured the spirit of Christmas. ❤️🎁

We were absolutely over the moon as residents and staff came together to enjoy the wonderful performance by The Uplifter. What a perfect way to celebrate the Christmas holiday season! The room was filled with joy as we listened to the old favourite songs, reminisced about the good old days, and took a musical journey travelling all over the world through memories and melodies. 🎶🌍

There was singing along, smiling faces, and so much happiness shared by everyone. Moments like these remind us how powerful music is in lifting spirits and bringing people together, especially at this special time of year. ❤️

A huge thank you to The Uplifter for such a fantastic afternoon. You are always very welcome at Hamilton, and we truly hope to see you again soon.

🎄✨ A Magical Intergenerational Christmas at Hamilton Nursing Home ✨🎄

We were overjoyed to welcome the wonderful children from Monkey Puzzle Nursery School to Hamilton Nursing Home for a truly special intergenerational Christmas visit. It was a lovely time shared by all, filled with laughter, warmth, and festive cheer.

The children and residents sang beautiful Christmas carols together, danced with joy, and enjoyed running around the garden, bringing so much energy and happiness to everyone. After all that fun, they sat together to enjoy delicious mince pies, celebration sweets, crisps, and refreshing cold strawberry juice – the perfect treat after a good run in the garden! 🍓🧃

Our residents absolutely treasured the children’s company, and the kindness, excitement, and festive spirit they brought made this visit unforgettable. These moments of connection between generations truly remind us what Christmas is all about. ❤️
