Thursday evenings at Brewer Street Yoga: 7pm is Mobility Yoga with

Friendly small group yoga class for gay men and their male friends.

Learn how to increase your range of movement in a healthy holistic way. Whilst deeply meditative at the beginning and the end, the central part of this class has a focus on technique with helpful achievable options being given to students whatever level you are at. Looking at a series of different poses each week you'll quickly develop strength and stamina over a short space of time!

A class for all levels, this traditional Hatha Yoga class is for those who struggle to touch their toes but also for those who want to achieve splits or get overspills but all with something in common; loving the feeling of freedom that comes from being naked in a safe environment whilst building strength, flexibility and body confidence.

75 mins of body positivity in a healthy, kind and loving space that welcomes all shapes and focuses on the development of our temple, our bodies.

Whilst you may not work up a sweat, you will work at a comfortable level for you, and will quickly discover that you are able to do things you never thought possible!

It's 2026 already and Brewer Street Yoga's doors are open again after the holidays!

It's a cliche, but new year new you! Our classes are always busy with lots of students new to yoga in January, so this is the perfect time to give yoga a go.

All our classes are suitable for first time yogis, though some are a little more demanding than others, so it's worth checking out the class descriptions on the website and do please drop us a message if you have any questions!

All our fabulous teachers from last year are continuing their classes so if you're a returning student who stopped coming because life got in the way do come back and join us.

Looking forward to seeing you on the mat,

big love from everyone at BSY!

Some people think yoga is all about being serious and po-faced. Let me tell you, that's not the point AT ALL! Yoga is joyful, liberating, an opportunity to really "live laugh love" as the saying goes. Because as says, "if you can't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love anyone else"?

Come find out for yourself at one of our casual chilled out classes where falling over, swearing, dropping things, and generally not being at all graceful, is all part of the magic of our community!

Monday Night is Hot 26+2 with Conleth!

In the words of long time student Scott:

"I'd never really thought of myself as the 'yoga type'. But as my fiftieth birthday approached, I felt it was time to try something new, break out of old patterns, and generally take better care of myself. So, almost two and half years ago now, I walked into Conleth Kane's Brewer Street Yoga class for the first time.

And it was, I'll admit, a baptism of fire - far more strenuous than any gym workout I'd ever done, and requiring me to bend and stretch parts of myself I didn't even know were there. But, mindful that few worthwhile things come easily, I kept going back and, within just a few weeks, the class began to 'flow'.

And I'm delighted I persevered, as I've got so much out of it all, both physically and mentally. The stretching has made me more flexible, while the breathing techniques have helped me manage stress a lot better. And I find going to a Monday night class sets me up well for the week ahead.

Conleth is also a very able and committed teacher, who is keen to ensure all his students derive as much benefit as possible from their yoga practice. Plus, he has worked hard to create a real sense of community among the group, which I have come to value as much as the class itself."

This class is our only 'hot' class, meaning the room is warm, so most guys take the class with shirts off and the traditional attire of speedos: technically they're supposed to be black speedos, but come on.. this is a fabulous gay yoga class! It's not compulsory by any means though and you're welcome to keep your shirt on if you wish.

This class is suitable for all body types and the group is friendly and welcoming so it's perfect for beginners. The class is quite intense and focuses on discipline and posture with the same poses repeated each week in the same order meaning you can track your improvements.

🚨New Class Alert!🚨

Many of you know Sam Cruickshank for his regular covers for Conleth's Hot 26+2 class. What you may not know is that Sam teaches a wide range of styles, and we're delighted to be introducing his Yoga Roots class every Monday at 6pm starting this Monday, 30th June.

In Sam's words, "Yoga Roots is a journey through the foundational elements of a holistic yoga practice, grounding and stabilising mind and body by use of traditional breathing techniques, dynamic and static postures, systematic application of internal energy locks and channels and, of course, meditation."

The class is mixed ability and perfect for a first yoga class, but also excellent for regular yogis looking to develop and grow. It is ideally suited to those who've been attending Antonio's Postural Awareness class that was previously in this spot (Antonio is taking a short break from teaching but will be back in a new slot in the autumn), but also very useful for those attending Conleth's 26+2 class shortly afterwards so if you're a Conleth regular perhaps think about this class an additional element to your practice.
