Hi All

I wanted to say a big thank you to those members of the various groups that have participated in my research. It has been really wonderful to hear your adoption reunion journey, and I feel extraordinarily privaledged to have been able to spend that time with you.

If anyone else is interested, I will be doing interviews up to the end of November. Please feel free to email me at pg512@live.mdx.ac.uk

I wanted to say a big 'thank you' to all the Groups that have allowed me to post about my research. The response has been completely overwhelming. I am working through the responses and will email / Facebook message all that have replied to my posts.

An update on my research:
I have changed my participant criteria, which was approved by the ethics committee via chair action. The new criteria are as follows:
1) Age Criteria: 25 years of age to 75 years of age
2) Time since reunion: minimum 1 year since reunion
3) Time post reunion: Maximum 10 years post reunion

I am going to be setting up interviews starting 26th September.

If you are eligable and would like to take part please do contact me.

Update on Research
Over the past few months I have had a great deal of interest in the study. Thank you to everyone that responded, expressed an interest or reached out to make contact. Also, A big thank you to those that have shared the research with others.

Unfortunately, the interest I have had has not come from the research population I am interested in. This has promted me to consider changing my populaton crieteria. I have thought long and hard over this and decided to continue with my original criteria, that being:
1) An age range of individuals between 25 - 35 years
2) Have found one or more biological parent/s
3) It has been at least 2 years since reunion
4) It has been no longer than 5 years since reunion

I would like to try for a bit longer to find indivuiduals within these parameters as I do feel they are under represented in the current literature.
