I’m Amal Sasikumar, fondly called ‘The Taste Magician’ by my peers. In 2009 I founded Gourmet Gurus Ltd. – a Hotel & Restaurant Consultancy in London. As a Consultant, I’ve helped start restaurants in India, Sri Lanka, Italy and here, in the UK; from concept creation to set-up, planning and successfully running them. I’m also the architect of ‘The Taste Magician Culinary Academy’, where we train aspiring chefs in the art of cooking, so they can reach new heights in their careers and guide young students interested in a career in the food industry.
