I’m Amal Sasikumar, fondly called ‘The Taste Magician’ by my peers. In 2009 I founded Gourmet Gurus Ltd. – a Hotel & Restaurant Consultancy in London. As a Consultant, I’ve helped start restaurants in India, Sri Lanka, Italy and here, in the UK; from concept creation to set-up, planning and successfully running them. I’m also the architect of ‘The Taste Magician Culinary Academy’, where we train a

spiring chefs in the art of cooking, so they can reach new heights in their careers and guide young students interested in a career in the food industry.
