To learn about epilepsy is a wondrous, ongoing process. The brain is so complex - the best doctors, scientists and researchers in the world will never know it all - but there is a lot we can learn and the information available is increasing rapidly.
The more we understand our epilepsy (and the common mental illnesses that often accompany it) or the epilepsy of a loved one, colleague, or friend, the more confident we feel talking about it, and the more effectively we can provide support.
Be Enthralled
There is so much research going on into epilepsy today. Most of us arenβt aware of it though. That is why we are here.
Research takes time, but through learning more about it, we can have realistic hopes for the future.
